Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 26 Sep 2024, 04:18

Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 32°. 8-)

We're going for a Guadalmar walk which we'll do before it gets too hot and sweaty to enjoy.

I'll have a swim when I get home. :D

Jacob and Conor are coming over late afternoon and staying the night.
They've got a 7am flight tomorrow as they're going over to Craig's for the 'September weekend'. :D

The four of us will go out to Gambrinus for a couple of beers and dinner. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Cloudy this morning and rain is forecast :Hi: Not cold though.

Just been and fed Junior, the donkey, his morning treat. Carrot and apple this morning, just for a change

Won't do any washing until tomorrow, as the clouds look a liitle black, so will do some cleaning. The pantry hasn't been touched for a while, so that's a lovely job to do :? . Move everything off the shelves, clean shelves, put everything back. Might take me a day or three ;)

Shepherds pie for dinner :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Al, enjoy your evening with J and C, and wishing all three a fantastic September Weekend :D xx

Jan I always wanted a donkey, as a pet, but have never owned a field to keep one in :D xx

Morning Cruiser :) xx

Very happy to have my girl home :D She went to bed last night at 8.30, slept 11 hours solid and is feeling fine this morning - so is coming to the supermarket with us and D as she wants a few toiletries.Talk about coming down to earth with a bump :P  The washer is on full blast, as you can imagine! Thank goodness for the dryer, as the weather here is very unpredictable - it poured again last night, but bright again now!

Pilates for me tonight!

Have a good day everyone :D xxx

hello and good morning all

sorry for the radio silence yet once again - work has been really busy trying to do my normal day job, plus then getting things in place for the office closing. Need to read through the posts and catch up but hope everyone is well?

Ally enjoy the evening with the boys and safe travels to them for tomorrow - bet they're looking forward to spending the time with Craig x
Jan, good luck with the pantry, maybe you'll find a few treats for Junior? ;-)
Cruiser, enjoy your pootle day
Kaz, what a lovely day you're going to have - bet you'll be smiling all day long

As said, been super busy here and will be for the next few weeks. They're trying to close the office a month early so it's all systems go. Office for me this morning to meet with a few people and then leaving at 2.30 to pick up Amelia from college as both parents are working.

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all, it’s damp here and we have a yellow weather warning for wind and rain from midday  Going to dance practice this morning then back for Kellie. We’re going a bit early as our kettle is leaking so we’ll pop to Power City for a new one on our way. Michael texted yesterday evening to say that he will be here for dinner, it’ll be good to see him, he usually has study in school after class on Thursday now but not today apparently.

Good afternoon.
Grey here but warm and muggy.
Eliza will be coming later.
I've done the crossword, just waiting in for the fish man and his van to turn up.
Have a lovely day everyone.

Afternoon everyone, I hope you are all enjoying yourselves with family and friends or at work.

Slate grey skies here with the odd cloudburst to break up the persistent rain, and it is only 11“C.

I bought a bag of baby potatoes last week and they are getting a bit sad so I am into a mini cookathon to use them up - goulasch soup, some Spanish omelettes (Tortillas) and perhaps a few rostis - all for the freezer.
