Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 22 Sep 2024, 04:34

Good morning.

Forecast sunny and 28°. 8-)
Bit surprised to see it's going back up to 31° from tomorrow till the end of the week. :o

I'll have a swim this morning then Jacob's coming over at noon.
He's taking us out for a spot of lunch. :D

I've got a chicken to chuck in the oven for dinner.

TV tonight. :P

Have a great day.

Good morning Ally and anybody else who is up.

It is 17C this morning with some blue sies. The sun is out so it may get warmer.
More ironing this morning. Then dusting and polishing.

When I took a load of washing out of the machine last night it was not dry like it usually is. So this morning I have just put a pair of pyjamas
in without any washing powder to see if it does the correct cycle. If it doesn't, I will have to have someone out to have a look at it.
It is about six years old and I have never had any problems with it.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Foggy. And damp  Supposed to be 26C and sunny

Washing being done, but it will have to wait until the fog goes before I put it out.

A lazy day after a long afternoon/evening yesterday. Was great fun though ;)

Roast pork for dinner.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, dull and dreary again here after some heavy rain yesterday evening, Edward is watching golf from Wentworth and the weather looks truly awful there. We’re going dancing this afternoon, somewhere we haven’t been before, so we shall see how that goes.

Morning all :D

Rain overnight, but nice and sunny right now.

We were lucky here yesterday, no thunder as promised so we popped into town to see what was going on with my prescription. The lady who served me was very apologetic, the label states clearly it's for home delivery, but they had a locum pharmacist in for most of the week. She said it was probably scanned without being read and put on the collection shelf by mistake.

Watched Strictly last night, love having the sparkle back on a Saturday evening.

Having a nice easy day, roast chicken with veg for dinner later, jelly and custard for pud.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon everyone :)

That’s warm again then, Al! xx

Hope the fog goes Jan xx

Good luck with your washing machine Cruiser xx

Enjoy the dancing Osc :) xx

Glad you got your prescription sorted Jen xx

It’s a wet day here, really autumnal - we certainly seem to have picked the best weather for our trip last week! Out for breakfast again, then Tesco to pick up D’s prescription - her “rescue pack” for her COPD which she needs to have handy in case of a flare-up. Antibiotics, steroids and an inhaler. She’s fine at the moment 8-)

I have a packed freezer at the moment, lots of meat and stuff, so dinner will be something out of it, and Emma gave me a load of apples from her tree so I’ll make a crumble 8-) A quiet afternoon planned, no ironing yet as the stuff on the airer isn’t quite ready ;)

Love to all :) xx
