These new bottle tops are doing my head in - the ones where you break the seal and undo the cap but it sort of locks on and stays there. it's a solution to a problem that didn't exist, but it has created a new problem. Well, it has for me.

I can open the bottle and pour something out but can I then get the cap back on!? No! Finding where the thread starts so that it fits correctly without cross-threading is a pain.

I have taken to snipping the bits that hold the cap on so that I can go "old-school" to fit the cap back on properly.

And... local recycling rules tell us to remove caps from plastic bottles and recycle separately :o

Frank, I feel your pain, they’re a blessed nuisance, but I find they kind of just push back on and *click*

Thank goodness for alcohol.

At least I can take some with the amoxicillin for the toothache. It's an abcess but not bad enough for a tooth pull. It has been drained, but boy is it sore.

40 mins in a dentist's chair is not my idea of a great afternoon.

The car failing its MOT yesterday didn't help.

Tough luck, WM. Awful when you get a run of these things.
Much work needed on the car?

No, Os, it's a a small rip in the CV rubber boot, but still a fail. The car is not dangerous to use, but these rules are what they are. £125 for a few quid rubber cover. Oh well!

Had to put £1 in a supermarket trolley at Aldi today for the first time since they opened the store here.
That must be over 2 years ago now. I've always managed to find a "free" one before .......

I hate those trolleys! I never seem to have a £1 coin when I need one - I used to have a plastic token that fitted them, but seem to have lost it :cute:
