Sunny and a lovely day forecast at 35C. More than happy with that.

A long day yesterday. Went down for a tin of varnish and came back with a new tele And the tin of varnish Steve very kindly set it all up - it's on the wall, as opposed to on a stand and we're all set up now for when we switch from Meo to Mr Musks's set up.

I went and got Jacquie and we sat outside whilst the men did the sorting out. Just have to do the clearing up now and removal of the old stuff.

Think we'll have a bbq later.

There was light rain when I went for the paper but it has stopped but still lots of grey clous and only 8C.

Just another day of pootling. Too wet to go out in the garden.

Morning all, it’s overcast here and very much cooler. Mobility class this morning and getting my nails done this afternoon. Before I go out this morning, I need to pop up to the chemist as Edward has some sort of irritation in his eye, so I’ll get him some eye drops. I woke up during the night and remembered that I hadn’t packed his Birkenstocks, staggered out of bed to write myself a note which is surprisingly legible! I need to book a taxi for tomorrow morning, 4.45am , most of the packing is done apart from toilet bags, so hopefully a relaxed day and early to bed.

Popping into town later, need some bananas. If it doesn't rain we'll park at Waitrose and have an amble down to the harbour. No other plans, another lazy day beckons.

It’s a beautiful day here. We had brunch outside Portivo’s in the sunshine, people watching Got chatting to a nice couple who had their two little dogs with them, after they asked us what breed Fraggle was. We often get asked, as he is unusual looking Then our friends P and M walked by and chatted as well, so it was a bit later than usual by the time we got round to D’s, where we still are.

We’re due round at Em and Dave’s at 3, for a cuppa and a chat, so we’ll be off in a minute. Fraggle will want feeding and I have bedding waiting to be pegged out, so we’ll nip home first.

Had a lovely lunch out and came home but after the sad news (see other board) we've decided s*d it and are now going out for drinks.

Sad news here too. A friends 21 year old son was killed in a car accident yesterday.

His car was the only one involved, so probably drink was taken
