Good morning Ally and anybody else who is up.
It is 22C. We have had rain in the night and there are still grey clouds but the sun is trying to come out.

Just another day pootling. Will stay in and do some dusting and polishing.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Pleasantly cool this morning before it warms up later.

I've spent the last hour working out in the garden, it was bliss. Walked inside to make a coffee and it felt rather warm inside

I have ironing to do and prep for the tuna salad. Then I'll hit the pool.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Hello you three early birds and everyone - good morning and happy Monday

Enjoy the day relaxing Ally!
Cruiser, I really need to do dusting as well, but just can't be bothered right now
Enjoy the pool when you get to it Jan

Well Monday = the usual work from home day for me - promising to be a scorcher. I was at the allotment early this morning to water - the tap that fills up the water trough right by my plot is broken so I had to walk a few plots down to fill up the watering cans instead; bonus is that I've definitely added to my daily step count :D About to mow the back lawn and then water the garden ; and then another vet appointment today at 3pm but then that's hopefully it until the end of the year when various vaccinations are due. It really is daft; I am changing the flea / worm treatment I use for the cats - but the vet cannot prescribe the new stuff unless they've seen the pet. Thankfully the appointment is free, but still - such a waste of time.

Have a lovely day all x

Good morning all.
Grey and overcast here but warm. It has rained overnight.
A member of the extended family is on TVtonight on Channel 5 at nine o'clock.
Matt is a SOCO (scene of crime officer) with West Yorkshire Police and it's a programme showing their work.
Ria, that's the problem with housework -you've got to do it all again six months later, as Joan Rivers said!
Have a great day everyone.

Morning all, sun and cloud here but it is warm. Back to mobility class this morning after a two week break - don’t think I’ll be very mobile! Edward has gone to play golf. I’m more tired today than I was yesterday after the late night on Saturday, so when I get back from my class, I’ll just see where the day takes me. There is a small amount of ironing, I might do that. An Olympic sized void exists now, what will we watch this evening!!

That's my excuse too Crommers

An Olympic sized void here too Osc. Watched the closing ceremony last night, the handover to LA was brilliant. Tom Cruise stole the show, not that I'm biased in any way   Sad to see it end for another 4 years, but not too long before the Paralympics starts. I often enjoy it even more, can't wait :D :D

Expecting a Tesco delivery sometime between 1-2pm, not ideal, it usually comes an hour earlier, my mistake I was doing it watching the box, ooops. It's too hot to do much else so a lazy day in the garden beckons.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all :)

Another baking hot day here :) Mick had a routine check at the hospital - one of those aortic aneurysm scans that they offer to men as they turn 65. It was completely clear, so that's all good 8-) I walked into town from the hospital to meet Emma - it was absolutely boiling there, but happily M&S had their aircon going full blast

Love to all :) xxx

We're skint

I suddenly reaslised that we had to pay the posh car tax, so we headed into Ourique this afternoon, and went to Vitor, who works in Finances - Fatima's husband - to pay the car tax. It's gone up by 20 euros and it now 716€ :o

Went to the library to drop off some books and told Fatima we were now skint

Then onto the Palma Restaurant, as shed load of us are going for lunch on Wednesday. No problem at all from them, even though we're not sure of the timing, or the numbers.

Pit stop at the bar and well, the bar now has air-con    :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Not only the bar, but their living places too. Son Nuno has paid for it all, what a star :Hi:

Tuna salad for dinner, early night, as it was so sticky last night, neither of us slept that well.
