Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 03 Aug 2024, 04:49

Good morning.

Set to be another lovely day here. 8-)
After more than a week of in the 40s brutal atomic (David's description  ) heat a more tolerable 38 is forecast.

Craig and myself are off food shopping this morning. I've added Monster Munchies and tropical Soleros to the list.

We've got a birthday party at the pub tonight. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Cool start, but warming up this week-en.

Grumpy will be off with Joaquinha later, to pick up the posh car. I'll drop him off then head into Ourique to get a few bits in Aldi, as they have some very nice floor fans and we need another one.

Will get more salad stuff, as the panned cooking is out of the window

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning Ally and anybody else who isup.

It is 20C this morning. The sun is trying to come out. Will be putting the washer on. The basket is full again.

Will do some more gardening.

Will also clean the inside car windows. I can see several streaks on them.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it’s another nice one here. I’m up a bit early as I’m going to my gym buddy’s funeral which is at 10am. Edward is going for a walk. No other plan for the day but I’m sure Olympic viewing will feature. Another great gold medal for Ireland yesterday in the rowing making one of the rowers the most medalled Irishman ever, as he has won medals in Rio, Tokyo and now Paris.

Kaz, D is some lady! I’d be shattered for about a week with jet lag :D

Good morning all.
A lovely morning here with plenty of sun; a little fresher than of late.

As the athletic has started now we might watch a little of the Olympics too.
It's nice that people still have birthday parties in the pub Ally; that sense of community has gone a little round here.
I'll check my lottery ticket - "This time next year Rodney..."
Have a lovely day everyone.

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast, but still very humid.

Ed went round for the papers earlier, the shop entrance was taped off and there was a big police presence. Don't know what happened, but it didn't look good :o

No surprise, we're glued to the Olympics. Medals already on the water, we're in for another good day :D :D

Hope you all have a good day xx

Yes for an almost 88yr old with COPD she does remarkably well! She's tired today, but by the time we got round there at noon she'd already got the second load of holiday washing on :D
