People do not comprehend, question or analyse. They go with what the 'spurts and 'trusted' sites tell them. They are mugs.

Those "believable" sites also forget to mention that at the lower price end the heat pump will need an electric immersion heater hot water storage tank for tap water, dish washer, washing machines etc. This water needs to be kept at 60º or above to combat legionella. It costs a bit to do that, but bog standard heat pumps cannot do it.

The truth is very different from the hype.

Careful review of all the available info is always a requirement. But as you say, people are mugs.
