Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 09 Jun 2024, 04:30

Good morning.

Southern Spain + June = hot. That's my brain workout for the day. 8-)

Body workout will be an early swim.

There's a 'when I'm 64' in this house on Tuesday and friends are hosting a BBQ this afternoon for the upcoming birthday boy. All food has been catered for so we just need to take cold beers. :P :cute:

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Cloudy and cool again  We didn't get any rain yesterday but have been warned more is on it's way. we'll see. It seems to be all in the north.

Bed hopping again last night. There seems to be a glut of mozzies around and although we're trying to be good, they will sneak in  The whole house smells of anti-mozz

I'll do the ironing I didn't get around to yesterday. No idea what else we'll be doing.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody,

Grey skies again. Only 16C this morning. This global warming seems to have died and disappeared. The sun must have taken a wrong turning.

Have got the washer on and it is a day of tidying up and cleaning. It has been neglected this last week.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it’s mostly cloudy here - again  Edward is up in the attic as the ballcock in our water tank is not doing its job so he is trying a fix before he goes out and buys a new one. As for me, I really need to start on the ironing pile that I ignored yesterday.

Good morning.
Cloudy, grey and with a cool breeze.
We are going out for Sunday dinner and will have a poke around a Norman church later on.
Have a great day everyone.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny, but it started well yesterday and turned dark and cloudy for most of the afternoon so we'll see.......

Very sad news about Michael Mosley, but as things have gone on it was becoming doubtful he would be found alive. It does raise questions about the search though, the whole area was supposed to have been thoroughly combed. Such a shame he didn't have his phone, even if he was unable to use it they would have been able to pinpoint where he was much sooner. My thoughts are with his family.

Not much happening here, we've had our usual Sunday lie in. Chicken with veg for dinner around 6.30ish, ice cream to follow. If the weather continues to warm we'll soon be back on salads.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon everyone :)

Al, I hope the birthday boy enjoys the start of his celebrations :) xx

Hope you've got rid of them Jan, flipping nuisances xx

Not very warm here either, Cruiser  xx

Ugh, ironing Osc  I suppose I ought to do mine too  xx

That sounds nice Crommers :) xx

Enjoy your tea, Saundra :) xx

Yes, it's very sad, Jen, he seemed like a very nice man xx

Cloudy here, but windy enough to dry my washing. We had breakfast at Portivo's, popped into D's, and I made a chilli for our late lunch. Thinking about the ironing :|

Love to all :) xx
