Morning all :D

Welcome back kaz, looking forward to hearing all about your holibobs :D

((((((debih))))) hope you feel better soon xxx

Miserable and overcast here, really fed up with this rotten weather  We were planning to take mother's summer clothes over to the CH and do a swap with her winter stuff, but it's much too chilly so will have to wait a bit longer.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Jen I have some of my summer clothes spread over a bed in the spare room, sorted and washed/ironed as necessary, a few bits in my wardrobe and some short-sleeved t-shirts in the drawers.
But I also have the thicker winter jumpers etc in the spare room, and long-sleeved t-shirts and thinner jumpers still in the wardrobe and drawers.
I'm supposed to be sorting it all out today and I keep looking at it all, scratching my head :D

Morning everyone. Just waiting the last 13 mins for the bread to finish baking before I head off to bed. Made the Mother's Day treats today. Lemon bars, bread, and lemon honey from the other week. We go to my mums tomorrow afternoon, to wish her happy Mother's Day, just before that we are at a birthday party at our old playcentre at the top of her street, and before that the kids have their first swimming lesson. Phew it's going to be busy tomorrow. But before all that... A friends husband is coming round, I'm to let him in, show him to their storage room, and leave him to it all day. Hopefully by the time we get back, there will be numerous rubbish bags to go out of lots of paper recycling, and little else left.
Welcome back Kaz, hope your feeling better deb, and micks arm isn't too sore and healing nicely.
Happy Friday everyone, hope you all see some sun.
Everything happens for a reason

Good afternoon all and welcome home Kaz! :D

It's grey, windy and chilly here today but the rain has stopped and it's supposed to be brightening up this afternoon. We'll see, but I hope it does as there's a washing machine full of wet washing to dry.
I've been to the gym and then ran into town to go to the estate agents to drop off the keys to John's Mom's house as completion is today. We went up last night and picked up some mail, it was strange being in there with it being totally empty.

Have a good day everyone!

Afternoon all, mixed bag of weather here, it was raining when I got up, has dried up now and the sun is trying to come out but it's cold and quite breezy. We have a busy busy weekend ahead, and I'm struggling to get myself going. Had physio at 8.30 this morning which was fine because it's only up the road - but I'm awake since 6am for no good reason  We have been invited to the official launch of a new dance competition tonight, it's in Carlow which is about 1½ hours drive away. They got some government funding so there will be officals there and so on, not just the organisers, we never thought when we set up our ballroom forum that it would take us to so many different places!! The comp itself is on this weekend also in Carlow, and we had said we would drive up and down today and the same tomorrow, but now we are staying tonight with friends just a short drive away, so that takes the pressure off a bit. Tomorrow night though we will come home after the comp (that will be pretty late), because there is a social here in Dublin that we want to support on Sunday afternoon, and at least we can sleep on in our own bed on Sunday morning with plenty of time to get to the venue in the afternoon.

I need something to shake me out of my sluggishness, and clear my muggy head, so it may have to be pills! I'll take some solpadine with my lunch and hope for the best. So the plan is lunch, possibly a little nap, shower and hair wash, dinner and on the road to be in Carlow by 8pm (on one of the main motorways during Friday/weekend rush hour, that should be fun - not!)

Sorry to hear you are feeling so horrible Debih, do you think you need anti-bs? I agree with what Mr. P says about your immune system being down after the shock of last weekend, so do look after yourself. Have a good day everyone and weekend also :) :)

Lol Osc I might need some pills myself after reading that lost and Weka's :D
If I took Solpadine though you'd assume I was extremely drunk, it doesn't like me at all :)

Mine's out Jo, but it's looking a bit iffy - I hate it when you have to check out the window every 5 minutes!

Welcome back Kaz!! Can't wait to hear all about your holiday and see some pics! :D

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well Deb....delayed reaction from the weekend? Get lots of rest and maybe a GP appt xx

Started off lovely here but now windy and drizzly.....taking Jen to the station soon to spend the weekend at her dad's - he was 50 last Sunday and she's not seen him yet. I have just had a lovely ride out to Teesdale - Barnard Castle to be precise - it's a gorgeous little market town on the edge of the Durham dales, about 40 minutes drive each way from here, all slate buildings and lovely countryside, also the home of the famous Bowes Museum, although I didn't go there this time. We usually stop off there on the way home from the Lakes, which we did also last week, so that's three visits in three weeks :D

Hope everyone has a smashing Friday and get well all the poorlies xxx
