Frank I really don’t feel there was any need for the ‘FCOL’ comment

All I saw was the ‘not secure’ words so I mentioned it, because Tim had often mentioned it and despite me telling him Mick was very computer and security savvy he was still a little concerned

You have your complete paranoia about security which you comment on. I frequently roll my eyes and think FCOL but I appreciate you do it for the greater good

Have a good day

We preach safety to everyone. When a question is asked we can respond. Granted WM and I understood Mick perfectly, I'm not sure too many others did. :ugeek: :ugeek:

Frank has loads of experience in this area, Mick has the most. I'm currently working in IT security, though as a PM and not a techie, however if we had any issues we'd ask Kaz to speak to Mick.

I think Frank's exasperation is a bit more around the level of security needed for what we do. Although I look at it slightly differently as I have to constantly do Statement of Sensitivity activities for projects that I do. We assess the risk of the exposure of the information we deal with.

I know you all think I'm a pain for refusing to do the whole birthday thing but if you put together the information on this site, especially the registered stuff, a reasonably competent AI could put together a pretty good profile of most of us. That makes it important to make sure the site at least has the basic protections to keep the worst of the scum away from us.

I know what Frank is saying but, then again, we do ask you to be vigilant and not everyone has the same level of skill that we do.

Those who understand Binary and those who do not.
