Forecast 36° but if we're lucky there's maybe a chance today of a baby's breath breeze.

After my swim it'll be shading and reading by the pool for me.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Much cooler this week, although not that much at night.

Spent most of the night being kept awake as Grumpy was mozzie hunting Still hasn't found it, although it found me a few times Even though I sprayed myself, I must have forgot a few places

Spent a long time chatting to a friend last night, who lost her husband, suddenly, a couple of days ago. She's going to send me the link for the funeral, whenever it takes place.

Off down to the Algarve this morning, for Grumpy to have another look-see with the eye surgeon. Pit stop at Iceland and then head back. We'll drop off any frozen stuff, then head out for lunch. I really can't eat anything this time of the morning. y breakfast is normally about 9.30.

Good morning everybody. It is now 18C . But there was light rain when I went for the paper.

It has stopped and the sun is trying to pushits way out and shine.

Am going to Wrexham to se a cousin. May have to make a detour as there has been a bad smash on the M^ near Knutsford.
It is not near the football ground so wont have any problem parking.

I know another route which will avoid the area.

I have a vet appointment at 10.30, so it's a WFH day for me today with the usual mix of work and pootle.

Busy day, I have two hospital appointments. Physio at 1.30pm for 30mins and then Mr Harilingam for my post hernia op check up at 3.50. Not much point driving home between the two so will pop along for a late lunch at a pub we've been meaning to try for ages. It's only 5mins walk from the hospital so a good time to give it a go.

MrsC has walked the hound, we have been to Aldi and in a while we are off to drop off some milk and bread at uor daughter's house, ready for them when they get back on tomorrow night.

Afternoon all, the weather has been mixed so far today but I think the showers have passed over now. Our visitors left just before midday, they are getting the ferry at 2pm. We had a lovely couple of days with them, our visit to the Guinness Storehouse was a great success yesterday and we had a lovely meal there too. We travelled by public transport and that went very well also. Since they left, I’ve stripped the beds and remade them for our next visitors on Friday night. It’s like a B&B here!

I’ll pop out in a little while to take out some money, and I’m thinking about putting on the summer duvet.

It’s been raining here. Out for breakfast with Mick, we’re now round at D’s. I’ve just wash up the lunch plates, and we’ll be heading home shortly. I really must do some ironing this afternoon
