Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 02 Jun 2024, 05:01

Good morning.

Mid 30s forecast and it doesn't feel as stifling as it has been all last week. :cute:

An early swim. :D

Don's in charge of the BBQ dinner and I'll rustle up a salad.

TV tonight.

Have a great day.

Complete change of plan.

Came in from my swim to find Conor had Whatsapped Don to say he's coming over (they got back from Norway yesterday) and wants to take us out for lunch. :cute:

He sent lots of beautiful pics and I'm looking forward to hearing all about it. :D

I'll pick up a rotiserried chicken on the way home and we can have that for dinner with salad. :cute:

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Love the cool mornings, and we-re a little cooler from today too 8-)

No idea what we-ll be doing, a general pootling day. I really need to dig up some bulbs, but apart from that, not got a plan.

We had planned on a bbq, but have leftovers from the other day, so will have that instead.

Just weighed myself / not something I normally do / and I somehow or other have lost another two kilos  And I thought I had put weight on, hence the scales. Ah well, I will take that

Have a good day everyone, whatever you-re doing xx

Morning all :)

Oh that will be lovely, Al - enjoy :D xx

Jan, you survived the dodgy cafe then? ;) Well done on the accidental weightloss - I need some tips! :P  xx

It's sunny here :) I need to strip our bed, and get the sheets out on the line before we go out 8-) Em and Dave might be joining us at Portivo's this morning, the Food Market is on so that will be a nice wander anyway 8-) It's less windy than yesterday, so we might actually manage to spray D's drive today!

Have a good day everyone xxx

Good morning everybody.

It was 17C when I got up. It should get warmer as the sun is out with a blue sky.

Am going out in the garden weeding. May also wash the car. It has not been done for over two weeks.

Have a good day everybody.

Followed very closely by Switzerland. :D

Morning all.
Dobby's morning walk had to be curtailed because of a Patterdale terrier, which is known to bite other dogs and people.
A lovely morning here, hopefully it stays warm and sunny.
MrsC and I are going out for Sunday lunch and this afternoon we will walk the dog and watch the motoGP.
Enjoy the day everyone.

Morning all, it’s a nice morning here and we went out for a walk around the block at 8.30 before it gets too busy. Our touring friends are due to arrive late afternoon, so I just need to clean the guest bathroom and put out their towels. We’re planning a simple meal which can be put together quickly when they arrive. I don’t envy them driving from Co Cork on a fine Sunday!

Edward updated his phone last night, having waited for a couple of weeks after the fiasco the last time - guess what, the same thing happened again  He managed to get lots of stuff back but has no ability to make or receive calls except on WhatsApp. It is extremely annoying especially as he is not great at multitasking and is pretty much focussed on it. He is currently doing a hard restore and has an appointment with an Apple tech on Thursday. This is the second time this has happened, and he is not the only one having problems. Right, I’d better get moving.

Morning all
Lovely day and not as windy as yesterday when we went to Southsea didn't stay long though as it was blowing a hoolie.
Home today as the garden beckons
