It had to happen

For the chaps here

It had to happen

Leeds United just don't do play-offs.

Listening in on the radio and we didn't turn up till the last fifteen minutes, and then it was too late.

Perhaps the only goodish news is that next year's Championship is much weaker. Those coming down will be also-rans, and below this year's top four the rest were miles behind.

Ah well, a voddy and some popcorn will take the edge off. ;)

Pour one for me.
I watched the match - unfortunately.
Dan James brought more energy and directness to the game than the rest of them put together.

TBH I am not too disappointed.

After Bielsa's removal and the Jesse Marsch disaster something had to be done. Farke got a handle on it and we need to keep him.

We'll lose players, no doubt about that, but we might be lucky and keep some. Some loanees will have to come back and we have a few old 'uns to move on. The academy looks good but a few one-season wise "journeymen" brought in might not be a bad thing.

And it has.

So, it's confirmed, Leeds United need to trade - sell to buy.

The chairman has confirmed it. Farke will (could) stay but we will have to sell to buy.

The new P&S rules (profit and sustainability) make it so.

Oh well. at least we now have the parachute payments, Not my way to go TBH.

And now Red Bull have invested. It is not clear how much nor who they bought their stake from but they are a winning business in sports so they must see something in the future for Leeds Utd.

It’s an interesting development Frank.

You need to hold onto Farke, he’s brought some stability and got you to the play offs.

Yes, especially if they’re going to have a positive influence on the younger ones.

I didn’t get to see the final, we were travelling back from the half marathon in Manchester with Joe and Amanda, but good to read that Dan James had a good game. Really hoped you’d have been going up rather than Southampton.
