Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunny, ut still cool. By the end of the week, we'll have hopefully caught you up, weatherwise, Ally

Grumpy has woken up twith a cold  so is being the patient from not a nice place  So I've cancelled our jolly for tomorrow, I can just about put up with him, but wouldn't want anyone else having to do it to

Our friends will surface later, it as rather late night/early morning   and they've never been good in the mornings. Once they've gone, we're going to slob out.

Something simple but tasty for dinner, to entice the poorly one's taste buds ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Enjoy your lazy day Ally 8-) :) xx

I hope Grumpy feels better soon Jan xx

It’s a nice sunny day here, we’re out having breakfast in Portivo’s. Round to D’s afterwards, then I really must tackle some ironing this afternoon before we both run out of t-shirts and tops to wear

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all, sun and cloud here. Edward has gone to play golf and I have house cleaning to do. Kellie will be here this afternoon, we swopped with my sister this week as our visitors arrive tomorrow and are staying until Friday. I had a very bad night’s sleep so feeling rather sluggish but I’ll just have to get on with it!

Morning all, it’s a dull one. Same as yesterday and that brightened up nicely by mid afternoon so you never know

Bill had a walk first thing and we were back in time to see John leave, he’s gone on a site visit to Sunderland so will be back tomorrow evening.
Just me and Joe later so I’ll make lasagne, but he’s got a 10 mile run to do first.

My plans are to mow the lawns and carry on sorting out in the garage. I’m on the last few boxes now and have a new supply of bin bags

Have a good day all :D

Good morning all.
Just. I have taken MrsC to our son's to do some cleaning. whilst there I got an old rusty gate and one of those outdoor fire heater thingies and took them to the tip.
Which was an experience. I don't know if they have a new firm doing the job, but there was a queue back to the road, a barrier on the entrance road and it took me twenty minutes to get to the chucking it in the skip stage. Lots of men standing around with walkie talkies but when you got to the skips, there were hardly any cars there? A rubbish system, boom boom!
I hope grumpy's mood becomes optimistic and serene Jan!
Nice day here; after some rain it is now warm and sunny.
Have a good one everybody.

Morning all :D

Wet

Hope Grumpy feels better soon Jan.

We were planning a little drive out today, but looking out of the window not so sure it will happen, we'll see. Whatever we decide we will be going out tomorrow as I have an appointment with the hairdresser. It was due last week, but I put it off because of my op, don't want to postpone again, it really does need doing.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon everybody.

It was 19C when I got up. The sun is out but there are some fluffy clouds.

have been to the dentist for the six monthly check. I have had a filing ion one of the back teeth. The dentist also took an X-ray of my teeth.

He showed me the results on the screen. No signs of any problems. It is a new piece of equipment with the camera scanning round your face.
Only takes a few seconds.

Have also booked train tickets for July.

Now just pootling. May do some housework.
Have a good day everybody.

Jan have you considered that Grumpy may have "man flu" in which case he will need a lot of tlc.
