Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 05 May 2024, 04:54

Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 29°. 8-)

It's five years today mum died. Unbelievable how quickly time has gone.
I'm feeling 'odd' about it this year as it happened on a Sunday and it was also Mother's Day so it's like a mirror image of time. :(

Yesterday evening Don suggested we go away for the day so we're going to Torre del Mar.
It's a beautiful little place on the coast where we can go for a long walk, have lunch and just enjoy being together.

We'll probably go for a drink and dinner when we get back to round the day off.

Have a good day..

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Grey and although it's warm, wet stuff is forecast :D

Big hug Ally xx

Not sure what's happening today, depends on the weather, depends if we're off out to lunch or not.

But I have books, so that's me happy :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, glory be it’s sunny! We had a nice day yesterday, pottered around town and got a few things (including another jigsaw which was waving at me from the shelf - well, it was of the Eiffel Tower at night and reduced to €10). Then Edward suggested we had lunch in Brown Thomas which is like Dublin’s Harrods, we really enjoyed that. Afterwards, more pottering, then home so Edward could watch rugby.

The plan today is to get a bus over the hill and walk back, then do not very much for the rest of the day. Just a quick tidy around, as the bus comes in 45 minutes.

Morning all :D

Bright sunshine 8-)

(((Ally))) anniversaries are always difficult xx My Mum went 7yrs ago, it's always brings back memories.

I had a good night, only had to get up once. No plans for today, no lifting allowed, but I've been advised to move around a bit so I'll have a general potter, there's always something to do lol I bought an M&S cottage pie when we were there on Wednesday so we'll have that with peas for dinner today, wanted to keep things nice and easy for Ed.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon.
A nice warm sunny day here today.
Those anniversaries are always poignant, Ally. x
Our son and his gf are coming for Sunday dinner.
He's picked up a bit, thank heavens. All thanks to vitamin D and no thanks to our local GP's, who have been as much use as a chocolate teapot.
Anyway, onwards and upwards.
Have a lovely day everyone.

Evening everyone :)

(((((Ally))))) These anniversaries can be really hard :( xxx

Nice weather this morning, but the rain is back this afternoon  We've been out - Corretto's this morning, then round to D's. Cold chicken, salad and jacket potato just now for an early dinner.

Had my usual Sunday phone call with H, a nice long chat about how he's settling into his new job at the cinema :)

FaceTime with B first thing this morning - it was early evening there :?

Settling in for an evening of telly and doing the crossword 8-)

Love to all xxx
