Hope you both enjoy your relax afternoons...... 27 and 26 degrees? Sigh - we'll be luck if we hit double digits here today My niece in south Germany woke up to a snowy winter wonderland yesterday
Work from home day for me so the usual of nothing interesting to report. They're expecting rain shortly, so I am going to give the lawn a very quick mow (the back one takes all of 10 mins if that ) and then pootle inside

Morning all, it’s cloudier and cooler but still dry, so that’s good. I left towels and bedding on the line overnight so they should get nicely dry. I’ll be going to my mobility class in a while, still not feeling great but I’ve already missed two last week. Then back to do whatever needs doing. Edward has gone to play golf, he thinks the course should be well on the way to drying out after the last few days of fine weather.

Bright and sunny

Thanks for the good wishes. My pre op assessment isn't until 3.45pm so no rush and means I didn't have to reschdule the Tesco delvery which is due sometime between 12-1pm.

Morning all, though it’ll probably be afternoon by the time I submit this

I got up to do Bill’s insulin just before 6 and the patio looked damp, I went out to check if it was raining and it wasn’t so once he’d eaten and been jabbed I went up to get ready so we could go for a walk. By the time I was washed and dressed it was pouring down and still is now so we haven’t had a walk yet.

I’ve spoken to John a couple of times this morning, just head clearing calls from him really and he’s decided that he’s coming home tomorrow evening regardless. He’s mindful of the fact that he’ll need more time off in the coming weeks, especially as her funeral plan is that there’s to be a service in South Wales and then a burial in Norwich. From what he was saying I’d be very surprised if she hasn’t passed in the next 24 hours, but he was out for a walk to get some shopping when he called and he said it could happen while he was walking back from Tesco and he wouldn’t be there.
