Kaz I’ve just read a lovely Amanda Prowse. The Day She Came Back. I’d never read any if hers before, have you read others?

Yes! Thoroughly recommend The Light In The Hallway, and The Coordinates Of Loss. Her books are wonderful.

Well…… my brother gave me Tackle by Jilly Cooper for Christmas, and I’ve just started reading it, not having read one of her books before. There was an introductory list of characters at the start, about eight pages, I gave up after two. It’s hard going and I don’t know if I will be able to battle on through the turgid prose to the end.

Aha! Found it! I knew there was mention of the new Jilly Cooper on here somewhere

Osc, I saw a thread about this book on FB! Hardly any of her regular readers have enjoyed it, some said it read as though it were by a different author :? Did you manage to finish it? Am tempted as I have read her other books, so am curious :?:
