It rained yesterday on and off till 7pm.
We need so much more but at least we got some. :D

Off for a walk shortly. :D

Reading and relaxing then a Chinese takeaway tonight and a film on Netflix. :D

Have a great day.

Good morning Aly and anybody elsewho is up.

The rain has stopped here as well. there isa blue sky with a few whixpy clouds.

Will be going out later. I want a few things from town. if it stays dry will remove the small branches which are obn the lawn. They have been
blown off a tree which is on a neighbours garden.
Had a phone call frommy sonlast night. He is going to change his car and wanted my advice. He needs it to get to and from his office
and get to Heathrow. He travels all over the world. He said he is going to San Deigo in March for a week and then onto Vancouver
for the second week.. He sometimes tkes his wife with him.

Have a good day everybody

Morning everyone

Gloriously sunny and warm now. We had quite a lot of rain at 5.00 and I've been awake since 3.00

Another not doing a lot day  I have the ironing that I didn't do the other day and I've already done my nursey bits and bobs. It is better, but going to take a while longer, I think

Might pop down to the bar later, pre curry.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all.

Joining in with all you raindancers as it persisted down last night. Now it is warming up the weak sun is drawing it up into a thick mist. It is mild and damp with no wind so things look set for the day, ah well.

I bought enough things yesterday for a cookathon so that might be what gets done a bit later.

Morning all, it’s mostly sunny here. I slept badly (again) so am feeling a bit fuzzy. Nothing too much to do though, just need to finish packing for going away in the morning. It’s funny, because we are going away in Ireland, it took me a while to realise that we are going on a holiday! Dance outfits for five nights, dance shoes, daytime clothes - of course as we are going in the car, I’m bringing far too much  This is the hotel we are going to

https://www.westportplazahotel.ie/

It has a sister hotel next door where the dancing is held every night, and you can eat in either hotel. Our first time at this particular dance break but lots of friends have been there several times. We have a friend living in nearby Castlebar, so we are meeting her for lunch on Wednesday.

Good morning.
Not as bad as yesterday, weather wise.
Off for a mooch around looking for doorknobs and sheets.
Everything around here is sodden, there is standing water in the fields and it seems to have been raining for months.
Strangely though, we have seen a few daffodils that have come through.
Have a nice day all.

We've had a blue sky here too Cruiser :) xx

That was an early start then Jan :( xx

Good day for a cookathon then Frank :) xx

That looks very nice Osc :D xx

The daffs are very early, Crommers! Loads are up around here! xx

Afternoon Jen xx

We've been to Elkstone, on the way to Cirencester, for brunch with our friends. There's a wonderful bakery cum cafe called knead there, the food was excellent 8-) There's also a butcher's selling lovely local meat - I bought some braising beef and some chicken :)

Called into D's on our way back :)

We're getting a bit concerned about Fraggle, he's been panting a lot and pacing lately - very restless at night :? We're thinking a visit to the vet might be in order if he doesn't settle down over the weekend.

Love to all :) xx

We have always had Alsatians, or German Sheperds, if you are posh.

They loved water and mud, but we always washed them down and dried them well before they were allowed in.

I now see that there is a thing called Alabama Rot doing the rounds. If you have dogs, please make sure they are clean and dry, especially if they roam the woods and fields/moors when they are wet and boggy.
