Tried to email but it said they weren't taking any. Tried to phone, it said i'd phoned an invalid number. Maybe it's me.

The more than doubling most of us are seeing with the electricity SCs are to cover the chancer suppliers going bust - Bulb etc. - and the likes of EoN, EDF, Scot Power having to take on their equally 'chancer' customers.

Why us regular users have to pick up the tab is beyond me.

It's similar to the £16 levy we all face to cover the debts of those who can't or will not pay.

Why Yorkshire, which is nearer the 'free' electricity from windmills and the gas fields pays more is a mystery.

I made the point about Bulb etc in my email.

The email worked for me, and the number I gave is from the Ofgem site. It could be that the 'consultation' is now closed?

I just emailed - nearly missed it :o  - had drafted it then got side tracked and hadn't sent it off. But just done - 17h20 and it's gone through.

Saundra, it may not do much good (but I hope I'm wrong), but at least we can say we tried ;-)
