Good morning Ally and anyboy else who is up.

It was 13C when I got up and went for the psper.

It is slowly getting lighter but it looks as if there are lots of grey clouds. But no rain yet.

Goingto Chorley this morning. Will have lunch there.

I have a glass of wine with my evening meal.I bought six in December when Sainsury's had a special offer.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning everyone

Chilly at 11C in the sun. Made my wet head feel rather cold  But warming up in the sun later 8-)

Off to Ourique this morning, to get my tootsies done. Grumpy is coming in too, as he needs to get some stuff from the drogaria. Pop into the library afterwards, as I need books and also to have a chat with Fatima. She and her husband are such lovely, friendly and helpful people. Grumpy made a bench for them, a few years ago, as Vitor likes to sit outside, listen to music and read. They only had a kitchen chair, hence the bench.

Back home for a quick change then off to lunch at the Palma. No doubt we'll stop at the bar on the way back

The cat took a couple of chunks out of my arm yesterday and it's blasted sore  :cute:

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning you three and everyone

Ally - :D :D :D 17 is what my indoor temperature is with the heating on! and I'm sitting here with two layers :D :D :D
Cruiser, enjoy Chorley and the lunch
Jan, make sure you keep an eye on the area where Molly bit you - cat bites are notorious for infections. Hope you get everything sorted in Ourique, enjoy lunch and say hi to the folk at the bar

Well dropped off the car for it's MOT this morning - also needs an oil change as it's coming up with that error code. I usually get a call around 3pm to let me know it's ready - fingers crossed not too expensive. WFH day today, so will be spending more time cleaning and tidying vs working. Four days in the office this week means the house is a mess   . This evening popping over to friends to pick up a new (well to me) mattress. They are converting their guest room into a study so are selling off the furniture currently in the room. My mattress is quite old and I can do with a newer one, and this one has hardly been used and I know they'd have spent a fair amount of money on it originally.

Have a lovely day all, stay warm xx

Morning all, it’s grey grey grey here, but dry. Edward has gone to play golf and I’ll be going to mobility class in a while. I really must tackle some ironing today, and we have Tesco due between 3-5. I don’t think we will go dancing tonight, Edward doesn’t feel like it but we’ll see how he feels later. He would hate people coming to sympathise with him and some of our friends do know about his brother, so word could have got around, people are so kind and well meaning. Still no word on funeral arrangements.

Morning all, it’s dull but not quite so cold. And it’s dry, so that’ll do.

Bill’s been walked. We actually so one other person out walking today, first time all week. First load of washing is in, second load will be in shortly. Joe got back from working away a day early hence why there are two loads

DPD have already been to deliver a bag of food for Bill, it wasn’t desperately needed but the manufacturer had a limited time 10% discount and when the food is £65 it’s worth saving a bit. Just waiting for the Tesco delivery now, it’s due between 11 and 12.

Went to see Ferrari at the cinema last night, enjoyed it more than I thought I would but wouldn’t bother watching it again.

Osc, you and Edward are in my thoughts x

Have a good day all x

Morning all :D

Damp and very cold brrr

Thinking of you both Osc xx

We got up a bit earlier than we have the last couple of days as we're expecting a Sainsbury's delivery between 12-1pm. Thought it would be better if we had at least finished brekkie  It's wash day too, but there are only a couple of loads as Ed did the sheets yesterday and is leaving the towels till tomorrow. Means he gets a nice sit down this afternoon before tackling dinner. His weight seems to have stabilised, he's a stone down, but happy being back to a 32inch waist. We would both have worried a bit if it had continued to decrease.

Hope you all have a good day, stay warm xx

Afternoon everyone :)

SW meeting first this - I won slimmer of the week  :?:  Then round to D’s for some lunch (I picked up some sarnies in Sainsburys) and we’ve just got home from viewing a bungalow! Very nice, even had an annex on it, but too close to the motorway, it was a constant hum :?

Going out with the girls tonight - cocktails then something to eat 8-)

Love to all xx

A lovely lunch of turkey steaks and we were made so welcome. All for 25€ :D

Stopped at the bar on the way back, for what we thought would be just another half litre of wine (1.50 :Hi: )

Sat in the sun, drying out my bites  and then Chris and Lucy turned up, then Darren, Rachel, Sheree and Mick. And then Mitchell

Six hours later, we are now home 8-)

Gorgeous in the sun, just rather cold when the sun went down.
