Good morning Ally and anybody else who is up.

Still only 12C when I got up. But no frost on the car. there is blue sky but some grey clouds. So we may have rain later. But forecast is for south and east araes.

So we may remain dry.
Waiting for a phone call this morning about my broadband. I may have to resort to phoning them this afternoon.
I also want to clean the loft ladder. It is sticking when I try to getit up or down. A joiner is coming to have a look later this week.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning everyone

Grey and rather cold at 5C  Wet stuff forecast for this afternoon.

Amazing what a brandy does  We both slept all night, until 8.30

Won't be able to do any washing, if it's wet, so a day for just keeping warm and reading.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s mostly dull and damp here, no frost but currently only 4 degrees outside. Edward has gone to play golf. Back to normal for me, a wash already on and another waiting, plus towels in the dryer. I’ll be going to mobility class this morning then back to try and get the house back to pre-Christmas mode. I took the ornaments off the tree yesterday and just need Edward to take off the lights so we can dismantle the tree and put it away. Quick tidy around before I go out.

Morning all :D

It's been trying to snow

Sounds a good plan to me Ally.
Hope you get your broadband sorted Cruiser.

Always does the trick Jan
Our decs all went away last week Osc, I hate doing it. the house always looks so bare.

We got back from our surgery about an hour ago so just had brekkie. Dave our lovely neighbour took us there and back. Will post on the Health board.

Expecting a Tesco delivery this afternoon, it was due to come this morning, but luckily I was able to push it back. Nothing else happening, we've had enough excitement for one day!!

Hope you all have a good day xxx

Hello all and good morning - happy Monday!

Enjoy the warmth and the lazy day Ally!
Cruiser, please be careful up and down the ladder!!!! And hope you get the broadband sorted
Jan, you obviously needed the sleep - you too enjoy a lazy(ish) day
Osc, I de-Christmas'ed my house yesterday - and same as Jen's it's looking rather bare. I love all my Christmassy bits and bobs
Jen; that's nice of your neighbour! Will have a look on the health board x

Well, office week for me this week - in every day excepting Friday; we have big boss coming over from the US. He's only due in tomorrow but as I haven't been here for over two weeks I wanted to come in today to make sure everything is as it should be / get supplies in etc. But it was a late start and I'll leave early; so all good. Weather wise it's the same here as everywhere else - cold!

Have a lovely day all and stay warm xx

Afternoon all, it’s a chilly and dull one but it’s dry and the mud was frozen on Bill’s walk this morning which is a bonus

Joe left at 6am, he’s working in Yeovil until Friday and then he’s home until Sunday afternoon before going to the Isle of Wight for work for a few days.

Tom’s back at work today, today is an inset day though.

Have a good day all :D

Good afternoon.
We have been for a paper and then to Freeport at Castleford. We lashed out on a new saucepan!
It was blinking cold this morning, 3c when we went out.
The heating is going on now and I think I'll settle down with a book.
Enjoy the rest of the day everyone.

Afternoon, everyone :)

It's been dry here, but very cold and a few flakes of snow this afternoon in town  I met Em and Jan our WW buddy for lunch, then round the shops. I bought some new boots in Clarks, and some PJ's in M&S, both in the sales 8-) :D That's my Christmas money spent now

Love to all xx

ETA Em just messaged me to say it's snowing up at her daughter's stable yard, at Witcomb, up in the hills outside the city - bit close for comfort :? :cute:

Been a horrible day. Rain this afternoon - not moaning, much needed - but it's so flamin' cold too. I've got three layers on, the fire is lit and the heater is still on.
