Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 30 Dec 2023, 07:03

Good morning.

Another beautiful sunrise indicating another lovely day. 8-)

After my walk I'm going to spend the whole day at home doing nothing but read and catch up on loads of stuff on iPlayer.

Chinese takeaway tonight and TV. :D

Have a great day.

Hope B got her evening flight Kaz and is on her way to Oz. :x

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunshine and mist this morning. We are sat above the mist 8-)

Got wet last night, coming home, so that was welcome and more tonight, apparantly. But at least it's a lot warmer :D

I have a small amount of ironing to get through this morning and that's my lot. I'll finish off the turkey, with a curry for tonight and Grumpy is also having a day off :Hi:

Meeting friends down at the bar later.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Ally, she's nearly at Changi (Singapore) where she picks up her connecting flight to Sydney :)

Glad you're getting some rain, Jan - I don't think it's ever going to stop here  :x

After the stress of the past few days we're just taking it easy today

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

That's great Kaz. :D

I've just translated this from a Spanish newspaper:

"A record amount of rain will need to fall in the coming months if Spain is to have any hope of alleviating its drought crisis by next summer."

It really is a worry.

On a different note.... change of plan here.

David's messaged me to see if I fancy a bit of day drinking.
As Don will be watching the Old Firm game I said yes.

Glad I'll have a Chinese tonight to soak up the beer.

Morning all, it’s dark, dreary and cold here, and it seems to be raining again. No plan for the day except the ironing I’ve been mentioning every day - Edward was telling me of a BBC programme he heard during the night about Band Aid, so I’ll listen to that while doing it. Then I’ll maybe spend some time doing my jigsaw, it’s a big one and I’m a bit stuck with it.

Kaz, I’m glad Becky finally got away.

Good morning everybody.

It was 14C when i got up. There has ben rain as there are puddles in the road. Still lots of grey clouds so more is expected.
Have been in the garage tidying it up I have just been putting things in without really sortingthem out.

I have a friend who flies to Austarlia to see her son and family. She always uses Emeirates. Has to change at Dubia for her flight to Brisbane.

Just another day pootling. Can always find something to do.

Have a good day everybody.
