Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 04 Dec 2023, 06:08

Good morning.

Cloudy sunshine and forecast 18°. Might need a cardi today.

After my walk it's the turn of the lemons to be picked and squeezed.
The other day I did the oranges and got 4 litres put into the utility freezer.
Think the lemon juice will need to go into the basement freezer.

Reading this afternoon.

TV tonight.

Have a great day.

Good morning Ally and anybody else who is up.

It is raining and the snow has gone. But it is still only 12C so the CH is on. Going to get some more cards. I have written most of them. But I need some special ones.
e.g one for my grand-daughter. Am also going to pick up some clothews I have altered.

Will then put the decorations up. Some are still in the loft.

Ally, I like the idea of fresh orange juice. I have to buyitfrom the supermarket. But I do squeeze juice of a lemon onto pancakes when I make them.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning everyone

We had rain over night, so not as cold as forecast and now it's just grey.

A day for inside, I think, too wet to do anything out there.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s a damp, dreary cold morning here. Nevertheless Edward has gone to play golf. I have my mobility class at 11am, after which I’ll go and get the car tyres checked, I think they are a bit soft. I had thought I might get the car washed but there’s probably not much point if we are going to have more wet weather. I need to collect something from the cleaners, then back home to do some ironing and sort out other laundry. We are away again on Thursday for two nights, so I’ll be checking if anything we are bringing needs washing although I don’t think so. Usual tidy around before I go out.

Morning all :)

Wet and very cold

Only up once in the night so not bad, probably would have slept through much longer, but I'd set the alarm to give us plenty of time this morning. Not being picked up till 1pm, but it takes ages to get washed and dressed. Always nice to have a leisurely brekkie without having to rush.

Feeling very nervous about the x-ray. I need to know if I've caused any damage, just not sure how I'll handle bad news. This last 6 weeks has been very difficult and it's not going to get any easier for at least 6 more, it would be good to hear it's worth it. I'm also worried about Ed, Michelle noticed his weight loss immediately, he's looking great right now, but he really can't afford to lose much more.

Hope you all have a good day xx

He's probably doing a lot more running around Jen. And worrying too, which all makes t he weight come off.

Been a horrible day, cold and grey.

Afternoon everyone :)

It's a foul day here, very wet and grey. I've been out in town with Emma, a few Xmas bit bought and a car h up with our WW friend Jan. Despite the weather the shops were very busy, particularly M&S.

Jen, fingers crossed for your x-ray XX

Love to all xx
