Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 30 Nov 2023, 06:35

Good morning.

Cloudy sunshine but still 21°.

Off for a walk soon. :D

This afternoon I need to pick up all the fallen oranges and get them squeezed and freeze the juice.

Out tonight for a beer and dinner to celebrate St Andrew's Day. :P

Have a great day.

Goodmorning Ally and anybody else who is up.

It was only 11C when I got up. But it has gone up to 15C with the CH on. Another blue sky with a couple of small white clouds.

Going to Chorley on the bus later. Will have lunch out. Probably a bacon butty.

Have a good day everybody.

Good morning Ally and Cruiser and everyone

Ally, do you have an electric press or do you squeeze by hand? but yum - fresh orange juice
Cruiser, enjoy Chorley and definitely enjoy that bacon butty - another yum! :D

A frosty start to the day here; had a 9am appointment to drop off one of my cats at the vet for dental surgery; so was out to defrost the car and scrape the windows ; only to come back inside to a voicemail saying the vet was sick so appointment cancelled - now rescheduled for in two weeks' time. I feel for the reception staff, because I know they'll get so much grief from patients

WFH for me so the usual mix of work and pootle.

have a lovely day all, and for those in the UK (ie everyone but Ally and Jan  ) stay warm xx

A day for staying in and reading, I think  I have a small amount of ironing, will get that out of the way and just be lazy :D

Have a good day, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, mostly cloudy, very windy and very cold. First time this year, Edward got up this morning, turned on the heating and hopped back into bed for about 15 minutes, so we got up to a nice warm house. Dance practice this morning then back to be here when Kellie arrives from school. Michael will be here for his dinner and we will bring them both home, then stay there till Miss Osc and SIL get home - they are having a meal out in town and then a potter around the shops. I want to make an appointment for a manicure, my nails are dreadful and with two “occasions” coming up, I want them to look nice. I’m going to get a BIAB manicure, anyone had one of those? Miss Osc gets them and feels it is better than shellac. I’ll make the appointment for tomorrow.

Um Ria- I’m not in the UK ;)

Morning all :D

The frost is thawing so it's a tad damp and very cold brrrr

Fresh squeezed orange juice sounds lovely Ally.
Enjoy your trip to Chorley Cruiser.
Have a nice WFH day Ria.
Reading and being lazy sounds a good plan Jan.
Have a fun dance practice Osc.

Ed posted the cards to Oz this morning when he went round for the papers, will be interesting to see if/when they get there. Still got a couple of things to wrap for collection this weekend. I actually slept right through last night, intend to keep the lazy theme going for the rest of the day.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon everyone :)

Needed it's chilly here, the garden was covered in thick frost when we got up! We nipped to the local post office on the way to D's for me to post something, it's usually much quieter than the main P.O. in town, but today there was a huge queue

I have a hair appointment at 3.30, then Pilates tonight! Just eaten my first mince pie of the year! :D :P

Ally, how lovely to have juice made from your own fruit trees :) xx

Have a nice trip to Chorley, Cruiser xx

Good luck to the pusscat, Ria :) xx

Jan, I got my small ironing pile done before we went out - glad to see the back of it ;) xx

Osc I have heard those manicures mentioned, but have no idea what BIAB stands for :?:  xx

Love to all xxx
