Good morning everybody.

Another cold start. Only 12C when I got up. With the CH on it is now 16C and still going up. Agaihn there is a lovely blue sky ad no clouds.
Going to get my repeat prescription when the chemist opens. Will go in the car as I don't fancy walking in this cold weather.

This afternoon I am going to the Urology clinic at one of the local hospitals. My doctor has made the appointment. I do not have any pain or problems goingto the toilet.

Not decidedwhat Iam going to have for dinner butit will be something hot.

Have a good day everybody.

Good morning you two and everyone :D

Ally, two beautiful countries - bet she has some amazing photo's; enjoy the breakfast
Jan, yay for the rain. Hope you get everything in the shops and as always greetings to the folk at the bar.
Cruiser, hope you get your prescription and good luck with the appointment this afternoon.

Work from home day for me, so the usual mix of work and pootle. Sainsbury's shop for the usual bits and then the job on the to-do list for today is clean the filter of the washing machine; one of my least favourite things to be doing, but it has to be done. Nadine is coming here between two appointments, so we'll have lunch here (leek and potato soup I made yesterday) and then she and I (with trusty laptop in hand) will be heading out for her 2nd appointment and from there over to a friends for dinner; he's due to leave for SA this weekend and will be gone for 3 or so months.

It's not as cold as I was expecting this morning - but temps aren't getting very high today and the next few days and nights are going to be nippy; 5 degrees or so for daytime highs apparently and just hitting the minus figures for nights.

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all, mostly cloudy here with some amazing cloud formations. Just humdrum stuff on the list today - get a case from the attic and start organising clothes for the next two weekends away. This Saturday we are away for one night on a dance break, then the following week we are away for two nights at a family wedding. Both events are black tie and I need to organise the exact outfits we will both be wearing. I will also go to the post office to take out some money. Thankfully I cleared the ironing yesterday. Going to dance class tonight.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny, but very cold !!!

Enjoy hearing all about your friend's trip Ally. We love Mexico, haven't been to Peru, but a work colleague talked a lot about it and it sounds amazing.
Good luck with your shopping trip Jan, hope you get everything you need.
Hope your appointment goes well Cruiser.
Two nice events to look forward to Osc.

Ed went into town yesterday to get his hair cut ready for the weekend. While he was there, he popped over the road to Waitrose as they are selling their Christmas crackers at half price so he bought a nice box, we do love a bargain.

It's operation Christmas cards for me today, will also do a bit of pressie wrapping. Need to get Michelle and family's done so she can take them all home with her. Saves ridiculous postage and even more important I can be sure they will all get them on time.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon everyone :)

I've been out to Lydney, a town in the Forest of Dean, to look at hot tubs with Emma and our Pilates friend Sarah. Sarah has one, Emma wants one, I most certainly don't, but went along for the ride (beautiful countryside) and the craic :D We also had a wander around the big garden centre up there, and had a bite of lunch.

Your friend's trip sounds interesting, Ally :) xx

Hope your appointment went ok, Cruiser xx

Glad you got rain, Jan :D xx

Oooh home made leek and potato soup!! One of my favourites, Ria :D xx

Hope you got organised for your trips, Osc :) xx

I want to get my cards written soon Jen, one thing off the checklist xx

Love to all xxx
