Morning everyone

Shrouded in mist again this morning but the sun is out, I can see it over the mist  But cooler from now on

I'll put some washing out later, I need Grumpy to get up first  then I'm leaving him home alone and going out with some friends :Hi: Only to Ourique, where there is a market type thing, then we'll have coffee, whilst one of them has a hair appointment, then we'll head off to lunch and Grumpy will meet us.

Back to do not a lot

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning you two and everyone else

Enjoy the walk Ally
Enjoy the morning in Ourique Jan; sounds a perfect way to spend a morning

Well, that's another weekend that has flown by. Work from home day today and tomorrow - and very much needed. Karl, Nadine and I are driving to Germany on Thursday very early morning and there is just so much that needs to be organised beforehand what with the cats and chickens, esp with four cats on medication and two on a specific diet; sigh. ~So not having to factor in a 3 hour commute makes everything a lot easier. Job for today is to find a restaurant to take mom on Friday - all the good ones close to mom only open for dinners and draw up an itinerary to send to my brother so he can print it off for mom. Her short term memory is getting worse and worse esp with things that are out of routine; so having an itinerary she can regularly look at throughout the day makes it easier for her (and makes her feel more in control).

Have a lovely day all (and if the weather wherever you are is same as here - stay dry!) xxx

Good morning everybody.

It is 15c this morning and dry but there are still grey clouds.

Have had a phone call wishing me Hapy birthday. I am now 89. Going out this afternoon to a friends house to have a little celebration. Cake but no alcohol as I am driving.
Will have to go to the post office as I have a letter I want to send to America.

Will just be pootling for rest of the day.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning all :)

Have a good one, Ally :) xx

Jan, those sound like fun plans :) xx

Ria, hope you get everything organised in time - it will be lovely to see your mum (((x)))

Happy birthday Cruiser :D xx

It’s a bright morning here, thank goodness - we’ve had so much rain recently  Meeting Em in town later this morning, and have a few bits to pick up for D, and some cough mixture for Becky as the chemist will be shut by the time she leaves work.

Have a good day everyone xxx

Morning all, it’s fairly grey here but no rain at the moment. Not feeling great today, I was awake quite early although I did eventually go back to sleep, but don’t feel rested. But I’ll battle on! Mobility class this morning, then I have a dental appointment at 2pm, while out for that, I’ll drop Edward’s fancy jacket into the cleaner for steam pressing. Before I go out to my class, I’ll go to the chemist to order my prescriptions for collection later. Edward went to play golf a bit earlier than usual. Just going to tidy around before I go.

Afternoon all, it’s grey and a bit drizzly now after a sunny start.

Up very early this morning to see Joe off. He’s working away until Wednesday night, they’re off to the Isle of Wight so had to be in Southampton by 10 to get the ferry. Last time he was on the IOW he was 3 months old.

Royal Mail have just collected a parcel. I like the new service, it’s free at the moment (think they start charging in January) and buying postage online is cheaper, and it means I’ve not got to make a special trip into town when all I need is the post office. They’ll even bring the sticky postage label with them.

Have a good day all :D

A lovely lunch, just got back.

I know the Portuguese do some weird food, we had something like a rissole, but shaped like a chorizo sausage  with chips, rice and friend egg

Chris was able to sit in the car with Grumpy and that made her day

Now for a snooze in the sun 8-)
