Didn't know Stevie Nicks was in the frame to front Blondie, not Debbie. She went on to Fleetwood Mac.

But Debbie became Blondie. The rest is history.

Fleetwood Mac were formed far before Blondie weren't they?

Yes, 1967 v 1974 for Blondie, and 1974 was when Nicks and Buckingham joined Fleetwood Mac for the album Rumours and stayed on.

What a band!
We went to find CBGB the last time we were in New York, it’s now an expensive clothes shop but we went inside and parts of the club decor have been kept and they welcome people to take a look, there’s memorabilia on display too. There’s a huge mural of Blondie and Debbie Harry on the street corner opposite.
