Good morning.

Another fabulous day was had yesterday. Catching up with Anne and Lynn was just wonderful and the Hickety Pickety cafe was delightful. :D

It's our last full day here together as sis heads off down to England tomorrow so we'll do what we've been doing for the past week....pack a day's adventure in.

Lots to do and people to see. :D

Have a great day.

Good morning Ally and anybody else who is up.

Got my first Christmas card yesterday. It is from a couple we had met several times in cruises. I had sent them emails but not had a reply. So I sent them a card asking for news.
The Christmas card arrived with a letter explaining why I had not received a reply. One was because they had ptoblems with their internet. Have changed supliers so should now
bw able to send and recieve emails.

But it was the second paragraph of the letter which was devastating. The husband has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. It is obviously a big shock as he used to be
a pilot flying jets.
The temp here is slowly creeping up to 14C. There was ice on the windscreen when I went for the paper. But a lovely blue sky and no clouds to be seen. Just another day ootling.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning everyone

Sun and clouds and hopefully, another warm ish day.

After a rather disturbed night, Grumpy didn't feel too good, but is all okay now, we had a bit of a lie-in.

I have ironing to do this morning, then make some fish cakes for tonight's dinner (and tomorrow's breakfast ;) ) then chatting with a friend back in England, via video thingy, then meeting friends down at the bar :D

So sorry to hear about your friend Cruiser x

Enjoy your lat day Ally x

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s a lovely sunny morning but verging on frosty. Edward is busy with what has become a usual Saturday morning occupation, batch cooking for the freezer. Today it’s veg, and there is the basis of shepherds pie in the slow cooker. As for me, general tidying around and then ironing. This afternoon I plan to read, I started a book during the week and haven’t really got into it yet as I mostly read in bed and have only been managing a few pages each night. I also have a jigsaw that is almost finished. Nice relaxing day after a few busyish ones.

That is sad about your friend, Cruiser, but I'm glad you finally heard from them.

Another bad night, up three times, finally gave up

Nothing much happening, will probably doze off at some time. Thank goodness for Strictly, something fun to look forward to this evening.

Hi everyone :)

We've not long got home - went to a fantastic place near Cirencester with Emma and Dave for brunch. They had a bakery and butcher's shop there too, and I bought some beautiful shin beef for a casserole. We took Fraggle, Em's daughter Sophie bought her dog Reggie, they got on ok, sort of  Then we went to D's, she'd made Mick a belated birthday cake :D Been home about half an hour and have got that casserole going overnight in the slowcooker.

Sorry to hear about your friend, Cruiser xxx

Safe travels to Michelle for tomorrow, Ally xxx

Hope you're having a nice time with Scarlett, Saundra xxx

Love to all xxx
