Good morning.

After four fantastic days in Nottingham I'm getting the train up to Glasgow.

I can't wait to see Michele! :cute:

Have a great day.

Morning everyone

Clouds and sun this morning, with the last day of rain for a while.

Safe journey and have a lovely time Ally x

Ironing for me this morning, then diving into one of the many books I now have :Hi: That's me sorted for a while :D

Curry for dinner, I should have some samosas in the freezer and another of that packet rice. It's alright, mine is better, but best to use it up.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morningb everybody.

It has been raining but there are a few blue patches in the sky. Going shopping and then ironing when i get back home.

Ally, hope you get to Glasgow without any holdups. As you have probably read, my train should have gone to Glasgow but was stoping at Preston.

Have a good day everybody.

It’s a fairly wet miserable day here and not going to improve much according to the forecast. We were very lazy this morning, didn’t get up until 9.30, although we were listening to the radio, chatting and dozing. I did all the ironing up to date yesterday so there is nothing major to be done today. I want to try on a couple of dresses, one for a dance break at the beginning of December and then one for a wedding a few days later. We’ll check what Edward is going to wear too in case anything needs cleaning. I’ve washed and ironed the bedding from the main bed in the spare room so I’ll make up the bed. It’s a truckle bed with the second one underneath the first that only gets pulled out and made up when needed. Edward has put ham in the slow cooker and will batch cook some mashed potato, some for today and some for the freezer. Reading planned and maybe some jigsaw time.

Good afternoon.
Grey and cold here.
Safe travels Ally.
Our son is coming over soon,I'm going for a paper and that's about it.
A day for reading a book in the warm, I think.
Have a great day everyone.

Morning all :D

Wet, wet, wet

Ally, have a lovely time with Michele.

No surprise I won't be doing much today. I ordered some beef slices from Sainsbury's so Ed's going to do mash potatoes, peas and pickles to go with it for dinner tonight. He's looking after me so well, obviously he's not cooking anything too complicated but dinners are always cooked beautifully, I couldn't do any better myself.

Strictly tonight, can't wait.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all, it’s pouring down here.

I’ve been to get my hair cut this morning, I had this wild idea in February (after it was last cut) that I’d grow it so I could tie it up when it was hot in the Summer (so you can blame my hair for the lack of a Summer). Anyway, I’ve had 4” cut off this morning. I’ve got a cold and debated whether to cancel but they posted on Facebook the other day that they’re fully booked up until the New Year and we’ve got a wedding at the end of the month so it desperately needed tidying. Anyway, my hairdresser had got a cold too so I didn’t feel so guilty then.

Joe’s in Poole, he drove down this morning at 6. He texted me a photo not long back, just after they’d left a pet shop, and they’ve bought Bill a doggy tweed flat cap. It’s very cute

John and Tom are on the way to South Wales, an impromptu day trip to see John’s mom. They only decided to go a couple of hours ago and are just going to turn up and surprise her. Tom said he’d stay and see to Bill if I wanted to go but I thought it probably best I didn’t take my germs down there, if she so much as sneezes in the next month it’d be all my fault
Instead I’m going to have an easy afternoon and evening and I’m going to binge watch the new season of Selling Sunset on Netflix (don’t judge me - the houses are incredible!).

Have a good day all :)

It's wet here, again :cute:  We've been out for breakfast, then I went into Next to buy a new black dress for A'a funeral on Tuesday. Went to D's afterwards and got home about half an hour ago. Mick's gone to the gym so B and I have settled down to watch the last of The Burning Girls. Spooky!
