Good morning Ally and anybody else who is up.

It is 14C this morning. A few small patches of blue sky but lots of grey clouds. No rain.
Will be finishing the ironing this morning. Then it will just be pootling.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning everyone

Cool and cloudy with maybe some wet stuff this afternoon. Not nice at all, for the next few days.

Lazy morning, coffee in bed.

Will be weeding down the drive this morning, the ground is nice and soft, so the weeds should come up easily.

Curry for dinner and I'm cheating and using packet rice. Shove it in the microwave for two minutes and done  Not used it before, so will be interesting to see how it turns out.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Glad you had a good day, Al :) xx

Have a good one, Cruiser xx

I sometimes use that rice, Jan, it works well in stir-frying in particular xx

It’s been belting down here, and is still wet. There’s been flash flooding in Stroud, but not yet here. We’re out having breakfast in Portivo’s, it’s far too wet for sitting outside Corretto’s. Em and Dave might be coming down to join us, but it wasn’t a firm arrangement. Up to D’s afterwards then I want to pop to Homesense for some cushions and to see if they have any small glass coffee tables, for the living room.

Have a good day everyone xxx

Morning all :D

Wet

Bed change today. We're also having Sunday dinner a day early, the chicken lasts two days so we'll finish the left overs tomorrow, less hassle for Ed on Monday.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all.
Grey here but not cold, and it's very calm after yesterdays high winds and lashing rain.
Not much on today, we've had a lie in and plan a lazy afternoon. Rugby tonight. MrsC was very impressed with the NZ haka last night!
I think SA will be too strong for us tonight, but you never know.
Have a good day everyone.

Afternoon all, it’s actually not raining! I arrived home from Brum yesterday to really atrocious weather, bit of a bumpy landing and a rather challenging drive home. We had a lovely meet, meeting up at New Street station during the day (that station is like an airport now, so many good shops and places to eat) followed by a nice meal out on Thursday night with lots of chat and laughs. Yesterday we all gradually headed off home, the last two standing were myself and Liz (Smith), we sat in the station drinking tea/coffee and chatting and then both got the same train, me to the airport and Liz to Coventry.

This morning we were up and out, we needed to get a new kitchen mixer tap as ours is leaking badly. All accomplished very easily, and the people in the shop were smiley and helpful. The plumber will come and fit it when he has a chance. This afternoon I need to read the invitation to Edward’s nephew’s wedding and book our accommodation. Otherwise nothing much planned, plenty of sport for Edward to watch, catch up on recorded stuff, then Strictly until the rugby starts.

Afternoon all, it’s finally stopped raining and the sun is shining. Lots of flooding around though no trains are still cancelled.

We’ve walked Bill so are just having some lunch before heading out to see my Dad, he’s got some appointment letters and a bank statement be needs me to look at, then we’re treating ourselves to coffee and cake somewhere.

Osc, funny you should day that about New St. The big former John Lewis unit was transformed into an airport terminal for the latest Mission Impossible film and they also used the restaurants, shops and the escalators down to the station concourse as part of it. Seeing all of that was the best bit of the film for me
Did you see Ozzy? *Edit* just seen on Facebook that you did

Have a good day all :)
