'The Town' on ITV1 last night was brilliant. A wonderful cast and great acting. Storyline is dramatic and intriguing enough to hold interest but again with a cast of such good actors making it gripping. You'll recognise all of them from other TV dramas and I especially like Andrew Scott (Moriarty in Sherlock) as he's a fine expressive actor. Three parter and the first part left me wanting more!
I missed this as I was recording Masterchef and then recorded Chris Tarrants Extreme Railways afterwards (which was great by the way) so I ran out of recording time.
I will try and watch it on itv player this weekend.
He isn't the main man in it Rodo. He plays the town mayor who drinks too much. He is being Martin Clunes like he is in everything he does but the quality of the actors playing the much larger main roles drown him and his limited acting abilities. Give it a try and see what you think
We watched about 15 minutes of it and then discarded it. Not for us I'm afraid. There is so much on that is good and there will be a whole lot more soon so it has gone!

It was! Started as cosy domestic and then the Grim Kicked In Said before I think it was perfect casting and first class acting. Let's hope it keeps the momentum going as the mystery unravels.
