Pleasantly cool earlier, but warming up already. Mid 30's for us again

I'll do the cleaning that I ignored yesterday By the time we'd had a late breakfast, then sorted a few things out, I decided it was too hot to do anything, so read a book instead

BBQ later and a lazy day.

Usual Sunday stuff here, out for brunch, round to D’s, chicken and veggies for dinner. Not looking good foe Em’s mum, although she is home - basically because there’s nothing more they can do Mick and I spent a few hours round at Em and Dave’s yesterday evening while Em poured her heart out All we can do is be there for our friends.

Morning all, it’s a nice one here. We had a tasty meal out yesterday evening with my brother and sister, then back here to watch Ireland’s resounding victory over Scotland. My brother went to bed early while we watched some of Strictly. My brother has gone now, he is heading to Majorca this morning until Friday. We are going dancing this afternoon, we’ll catch up on Strictly before we go.

The sun is out and it is 18C. Hope to mow the lawn when the grass has dries. The car windows had mist on them when i went for the paper.

Will alsofinish pulling up the summer bedding plants which are now past their best.

Grey but quite warm.
I bet Majorca is still nice in October.

Chicken for Sunday dinner, our daughter and Eliza are coming.
Our son went to a wedding in North Yorkshire yesterday. They say there's no money around but these weddings must cost a bomb. Plus the stag dos abroad, I don't understand it at all.

Bright sunshine

Need to whiz round the house for a big tidy up. Also need to pack my bag ready for a very early start tomorrow.

We had our Sunday roast yesterday so today it's left over chicken, my version of bubble and squeak and pickles. It's one of my favourite dinners, yummy.
