Good morning.

Sunny and toasty warm. 8-)

Washing is on and I'll have a swim shortly then stay by the pool reading. :D

Chinese takeaway tonight and the superb Strictly Come Dancing. :Hi:

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Another gorgeous sunrise and another rather warm day 8-)

Had a brilliant day yesterday - apart from our friend's bit of a pretentious prat of a husband  First time we'd met him and his first question to Grumpy was "have you got a big house?" His second was "how big is your pool, if you have one" :o :o
pool.

Apart from me putting him in his place with a couple of looks, he was fine   And they all enjoyed the food.

Our mayor came to have his lunch, so he had a chat and I was able to introduce Lynda and Gary, which they were thrilled about.

Grumpy out doing the last of the window surrounds, I have ironing

I also have to marinade the chicken, for chicken and clams tonight.

Meeting Gary and Lynda, Mitchell down at the bar later.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Enjoy Strictly, Ally :) xx

He sounds like hard work, Jan :cute:  xx

It's very quiet here, sans daughter and hound  We'll be out later, no dog to walk round the dock, but we might still do it anyway ;) Round to see D later.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all, it’s grey and drizzly here, still quite mild though. Edward was up at 6.30 again to watch the Ryder Cup golf and when I got up at 8.30 he had already made some nice mincemeat pastries. Now he has prepared the ingredients for a lamb ragu and put it in the slow cooker - I had it in an Italian restaurant recently and loved it, so we looked up recipes and we’re giving it a try today. No great plan for the day, there is some ironing to be done but it can wait unless I get a sudden irresistible urge……. Otherwise, general tidying around and I might put away my summer shoes and take out the autumn/winter ones as sandal season is definitely gone. I’m gradually putting away summer clothes but haven’t really delved into the winter ones yet.

Good morning.
A mild morning here so far.
We are having Eliza to sleep over tonight.
Lamb ragu sounds nice! Enjoy the bar Jan.
I will nip out for a paper and await the coming of little madam this afternoon!
Have a good day all.

Morning all, it’s just started to rain here.

Off to Manchester with Joe shortly. M6 looks like being a pain again, slow from Stafford to Knutsford.

Right, better dry my hair!

Have a good day all :)

Morning all :D

Lovely bright sunshine 8-)

We'll be glued to Strictly this evening too Ally.
Your friends husband definitely sounds a pretentious prat Jan, I'm sure you'll manage him beautifully ;)
Enjoy your quiet day Kaz.
It's too warm here for winter clothes Osc, but it is getting a tad chillier so I don't think it will be too long.
Busy day for you Crommers, I'm sure Eliza keeps you on your toes.

Not sure what we're doing today, we had a lie in so just having brekkie. Need two big mugs of fresh coffee before I'm fully compos mentis

Hope you all have a good day xx

drops. But they had not received a new supply. So Icame homw and have been to town. ent to Boots and they had none. Went toanother chemist and they had
some. So I will now be able toput the drops in my eyes. I thought I had a spare bottle. Will order another one next week.

Am going to send the gas and electricity readings later.
