Good morning.

Another stunning sunrise heralding a beautiful day. 8-)

A walk first ending up at my hairdresser for my monthly snip.

A swim this afternoon.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

A lovely sunrise here too 8-) Very still this morning and a rather warm day later.

Grumpy out painting, I've watered the new plants and about to attack the cleaning.

We're meeting friends at the bar this morning - for coffee  - and then another couple of friends should arrive around 12.00. They're driving down from Sintra and this is a pause for them on their way back to the Algarve. Heading out for lunch (Grumpy and I don't normally do lunch, so he's not really looking forward to that bit  )

No idea what the rest of the day will bring, we'll just go with the flow.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Ally, that all sounds good :) xx

Enjoy meeting your friends Jan, even though it involves a compulsory lunch ;) :D xx

Looks like a bright day dawning here. SW first, then a cuppa and natter round at Em's, picking B up from work at lunchtime and dropping her and Fraggle at the station :) Brunch/lunch at Portivo's at some point 8-) Popping in on D at some point later on.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning everybody.

A cool 17C here but the sun is out. Going to Chorley on the bus. Will get meat at the butchers, fish at the fish stall, and freshveg.

Will have lunch at the usual cafe. Hotpot and te for £7.50. It is privately owned and good value.

Have a good day everybody.

Hello and good morning all

Ally; another pefect Friday me thinks! Enjoy
Jan; have a fab time with the friends, despite the lunch (I'd not have a problem with that    ) and enjoy the day whatever happens
Kaz, your day also sounds rather nice. And sorry if I missed it, but is Becks going away with Fraggle?
Cruiser, I need to figure out if we have a fish stall somewhere nearby - Chorley sounds a perfect place to go shopping. Enjoy lunch

Well Friday = work from home day for me. Doing the usual work / pootle mix in the morning. I have a 2pm nail appointment so will pop by a charity shop on my way to drop off a few bits. Some not so good news yesterday - my lovely neighbour (next door upstairs) was taken to hospital on Monday afternoon. I messaged him yesterday to see how he was doing and his daughter replied to say that he's not well and won't be coming back home to his flat. He was diagnosed with lung cancer just before covid and about 6 months ago they said they could do no more for him and stopped all treatment. Sadly I don't think he'll make it to a hospice and that it's now the final days for him, but I really hope I'm wrong. He's only 61 - so young

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all, it’s a lovely sunny one here. Edward is up since 6.30 watching Ryder Cup golf, I stayed on in bed for some more sleep! He is going out to play golf at 10am, his friend is picking him up. We will probably go dancing tonight, depends on how he feels, he is still not back to full strength. I have lots of bits and pieces to do so I’ll work my way through the list - I need to renew my prescriptions and enquire about flu/booster jabs, among other things on the list. Also I have been charged with making a fish lasagne for dinner. First of all I need to have my shower, I was lazy today and had my brekkie first.

Ria, that’s very sad about your neighbour :(

Morning all, it’s a sunny one!

It’s been a busy one so far. Walked Bill, put washing on the line, went to the dentist and had a tooth extracted and was back home by 9.05am.
Thankfully Joe offered to take me as I have to get two buses there and traffic is horrendous the way they go for getting there for an 8.40 appointment. I sat in the chair at 8.45 and was back in the car (which he’d parked a couple of minutes away), minus one tooth, at 8.59.

The Tesco delivery is coming this afternoon and I think there’s an Amazon order coming too. Joe’s popping over to see Kath, Amanda’s mom later, she’s such a lovely lady and has told him off for not visiting now Amanda’s moved away

Ria, that’s very sad. Poor man and his poor family, he’s so young :( ((((Ria))))

Kaz, safe travels to Becky and Fraggle! :D

Chorley sounds like a good place to shop, we’ve nothing like that here, there’s not even an independent greengrocer or butcher in the town centre, just a choice of Asda, Aldi or Morrisons.

Have a good day all :D
