I've given Grumpy the week-end off so he can rest his arm.

Then we're off tonight to Bente's for dinner - so that means I'll have to drink alcohol and I've sworn off it until we sell the house or I lose 7 kilos, whichever comes first. Hey ho. must be sociable, I supose

Good morning all, it looks like being a day of sunshine and showers - the sky is blue in some places and black in others.

It's just me and Billy today, John and the boys are helping MIL to move. I'm going out shortly to get my hair cut - it's a long long walk (it's too much of a faff to get buses - four in all) so I'm hoping the showers will hold off.

Typical April weather here.

Done the weekly supermarket shopping this morning. Next it's a roast chicken lunch followed by a country walk with our four-legged friend. Snooker watching again tonight. Can't be bad !!!

It's been gorgeous here since Noon, we had quite a downpour this morning but when I took Billy over the common when I got back from the hairdressers you wouldn't have known it. The land is as dry as a bone over there and is cracking in places.
