Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 12 Sep 2023, 04:13

Good morning.

Sneaking up to 32° today. Yesterday got ridiculously hot it felt like June weather!

Going for an early walk to Guadalmar with Don and will get some food shopping on the way home.

A swim at some point and reading. :D

Something cold for dinner. Ice cream probably.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Misty this morning, so feeling damp. Another rather warm day, once that disappears. Creeping up to 30C for us later.

Off down the track once I've had my coffee, to try and finish off digging up the big stuff. The little lavenders can get blasted with weed killer

Mitchell off to Beja this morning, as Dr Paulo wanted him to have further tests and didn't want the wait, if you go the clinic route. Hugh is taking him as there may be some tests that they have to give him some sedatives. He really is not looking forward to it, like most of us Beja Hospital is not the best of places to be in.

Stir fry for dinner, if I have the energy  And my knees can cope with standing up

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s mostly cloudy here and noticeably cooler after lots of rain yesterday. We’re up early as Edward has a doctor’s appointment at 9.15am. After that, we’ll do a bit of shopping, I need face cream and we want to get a few bits for the freezer. Back to probably snooze in the chair after our early start!

Morning all, it’s raining and forecast to be 16° by this afternoon.

Not much happening here due to the rain, Bill’s slumped on the sofa because he’s not had a walk but he won’t go out in the rain anyway

Have a good day all :)

hello and good morning all

Jan, good luck to Mitch, really hope they can get him sorted / get conclusive tests
Ally, Cruiser and Osc, hope you get all the bits and bobs you want when shopping
Jo and Saundra, we were meant to have rain today, but so far not had any and the forecast now is clear. We could really do with some. Hope it clears up so Billy can get his walk :D

Busy day for me; board meeting plus a few other meetings so I'll be running around like a loon - good for the fitbit!

have a lovely day all x

Morning all :D

Dull, but still very warm.

Yesterday's pre assessment went well. I asked about cancellations and the nurse said it's all been going smoothly, but they had to cancel some stomach surgery that morning. Apparently the surgeon didn't turn up and they were unable to contact him!!

We've had a nice lie in, makes up for yesterday's early start. We'll be popping out to the small Tesco in the next hour or so. Not seen much rain for a while, but it's forecast today around teatime. Hopefully it will freshen things up, it's been very oppressive for days now.

Hope you all have a good day xx

All done :Hi: :Hi:

Seriously impressed with us both. Not bad for an almost 76 and a 67 year old  Six mornings and almost 230 metres long

Caved in after an hour and went to the bar for a coffee, that gave us the energy to finish it all off :D All I have to go now is chuck it all in the wheelbarrow and get it over to the ruin, about 10 barrow loads, I think

But it's too hot to do any hard work now, lovely breeze keeping it cool, so I might do some.

Afternoon everyone :)

It’s raining here, very refreshing and cool - my garden is loving it :D Out for brekkie but no walk around the water as it was lashing down! Round at D’s now, about to have lunch. I picked her up some baby wool for the new January arrival In Wilko yesterday, it was sad to see the empty shelves, but the wool was discounted

Jen fingers crossed that all goes smoothly, and wishing the same for Mitchell, Jan.

Love to all xxx
