Good Morning Monday

Postby JanB » 11 Sep 2023, 06:21

Morning everyone

Foggy and damp  Showers forecast for today and not that warm at 26C

I won't bother with any sheet washing today, as tomorrow is supposed to be dry, so I'll head outside and finish off the cutting back down the drive. Won't get it all done today, as it's a long, long drive

Grumpy made a start on the turning circle yesterday, so will probably carry on with that. He's waiting for some stuff for the car port, so can't do any more just yet.

Leftover chicken and leftover curry for dinner 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning eveybody.

A cool 22C on the thermometer. It is cloudy and forecast says it is getting cooler this week. Housework today. Haven't really done any for over a week.

Have already done some vacuuming.
Managed to phone grand-daughter last night. We had a good chat as I told her about the talk i gave to the scholl children. I have a video of it which I am sending to her.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all :D

It's going to be another scorcher 8-)

Much as I can cope with hot temperatures, this humidity isn't much fun. Up at silly o'clock as I have a hospital appointment for my pre op assessment. I've lost count of how many I've had since I was put on the list for my ankle, but I didn't have an op date before any of the others so fingers crossed.

Not much else planned, expecting a Tesco delivery this afternoon and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all, it’s sunny and breezy and we’re forecast around 22° today which will be a relief. It certainly didn’t feel quite so humid when I walked Bill.

Had a nice afternoon in Birmingham with John yesterday, and it was so good to get in places with air conditioning

Relieved that it’s a school day, the noise from next door has been horrendous this weekend. Kids screeching constantly, the dogs barking, no privacy due to them using the trampoline which is right by the fence and I’ve lost count of how many times the football came over. We had to abandon plans to eat outside on Saturday.
I think it was a reason why John suggested we go out yesterday afternoon. I threw the ball back four times in the space of 15 minutes while I was cooking at lunchtime, thankfully it then started to rain so they went in :Hi:

No plans today apart from hoovering and ironing. I’ve done the daily leaf pick up on the lawn, next door’s cherry tree clearly has some kind of disease in it’s leaves and I’m filling a Tesco bag daily with what it’s shedding onto our lawn.

Jan, I’m officially joining you in the pain in the backside neighbour group  ;)

Have a good day all :D

Morning all :)

It’s cloudy here, but still pretty humid! Jen I agree, the heat is great but the humidity is awful  Good luck with your appointment xx

Ally, getting hotter again? Blimey :? xx

Don’t overdo the gardening Jan xx

Morning, Cruiser! xx

Jo, they sound like real pests  xx

Mick has the follow-up appointment this morning at 11.30, for the gum biopsy he had done recently, so I’m going with him. Hopefully it will be ok, although some VV vibes would be nice. Planning to meet Em in town later, all being well.

Have a good day everyone xxx

Morning all.
Very nice too, blue skies and sun.
I think that you are right Jen, it's the humidity that makes you uncomfortable. We had a belter of a thunderstorm last night and this time we did get heavy rain. I hope your pre-op goes well.
Kaz, lots of vibes for Mick. Jo, that sounds like no fun.
Must remember to pay the gas bill today, we need some bits as well.
Have a nice day everyone.
