Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 06 Sep 2023, 05:31

Good morning.

We might be matching parts of the UK today with temps of 30°.

I'm off for a walk shortly. :D

I'll have a swim late morning then I need to look at booking my return flight in November.

Something with salad for dinner and TV tonight.

Have a great day.

Morning all, not often I’m second on parade! I’m up early as Michael and I are heading off on our day out to the Irish Open golf Pro Am, looking forward to spending the day with my favourite young man. We were chatting on the phone last night and I noticed that his voice is getting deeper  It is about an hour or so away but we will have school and rush hour traffic to contend with, so we’ll get there when we get there. That’s just to the park and ride, then bus to the course, so that takes time too. The forecast is fab, I told Michael that I hoped he didn’t mind being with his old granny in her shorts! We won’t be late home, usually at these things, you’ve had enough by 3.30 or 4pm.

Morning everyone

Foggy

Have a lovely, lovely day Osc :Hi: :Hi:

Off to Ourique this morning, need to get the puncture repaired and put back on the car, go to the driving school and leave grumpy's medical, (they'll go to Beja IMT and sort out the renewal, we just pay them  ) and then do the shopping.

Back to do not a lot, or I might be tempted to attack the overgrown lavender again.

Something out of the freezer for dinner. I stocked up earlier in the year, thinking I'd be in hospital, but as that isn't happening, all the dinners need to be eaten.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it was misty when I walked Bill but that’s clearing now and we’re forecast 28° later.

Not much planned for today. Amanda’s back home until the weekend so Joe’s going to her house straight from work and they’re going out for dinner and then to the cinema. I think he’s staying over there tonight.

I managed to get Tom’s back to school photo today  he’s been in for two days training but the kids go back today.

Have a good day all :D

Morning all :D

Sunny and hot 8-)

Up a bit earlier than usual, we're off to the cinema at lunch time. Booked to see The Equalizer 3, love Denzel Washington, he's one of my favourite actors.

Not much to do when we get back, I popped a gammon in the slow cooker yesterday so we'll have that cold with salad for dinner this evening.

Not sure if Sue is back home yet, Monday they were flying from Ireland, but they still had to fly back home from Heathrow. It's about 24hrs flight time, but they also had to touch down in Singapore. Hoping to hear something today.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning.
The cloud and mist is burning off now, it's going to be another warm day.
MrsC is off to check on her Uncle Jim again. We went round yesterday only to find that he'd fallen again in the night and been taken to A and E.
This morning we had a call from the warden at his sheltered accomodation saying that she'd seen Jim at his front door dressed in shirt, coat socks and shoes - no trousers - saying "Somebody's been meddling with me clothes!". MrsC thinks most likely he's confused and dehydrated. We'll see.
Have a good day everyone.

Hello all

Crommers, that's a worry - hopefully he's as OK as can be :(
Jen, fingers crossed you have some news soon - what a worrying time for you
Saundra, I saw the photo on FB - so cute! She's just growing up so fast. Enjoy those men in lycra ;)
Jo, that's brilliant re the photo - what a fun idea
Cruiser enjoy the garden later today; don't overdo it in the heat
Osc, hope you and Michael have an amazing day today. And I bet you rock those shorts!
Jan enjoy your day doing something or nothing - whatever you end up doing
Ally, hope lunch was / is good?

Office day for me today. And at the moment very annoyed with myself as it would seem I forgot to pay for parking at the station on Monday. Totally my own fault, but I seriously could do without a parking fine right now given some rather hefty vet bills recently - so so hacked off

Have a good day everyone x
