Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 31 Aug 2023, 05:43

Good morning.

Back up to 35° today. We had a wonderful breeze yesterday so I'll forgive the heat monster.

I'm meeting an old work colleague this morning at 11 for breakfast. :D

This is a special day for us. It was twenty years today we moved to Spain. :cute:

It's been truly wonderful and long may it continue. :D

Jacob and Conor are coming over this afternoon and we're all going out tonight for drinks and dinner.
Really looking forward to it. :cute:

Conor is going to stay over as he's flying to Valencia tomorrow morning.

Have a great day.

Good morning Ally and everyone

Happy Spain'aversary Ally - 20 years? Wow! :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: Enjoy the day and the dinner x

Well, working from home for a few hours this morning and then heading into the office. Catching a later train so it's cheaper to get in. Dentist yesterday went well - now on a once a year check up for both dentist and hygienist vs the usual every six months; so I'm very happy!

Weather wise here - well let's just say summer is over (not that we ever really had one)! Rain and 16 / 17 degrees expected - that's just so horrible for this time of year :( And then next week it's expected to head up to high 20's (and typical I'll be in the office!)

Have a lovely day all x

Good morning everybody.

Ally, enjoy your celebration dinner. Send some of that warm weather over here. It is only 19C again.
The sun i8s out with a few whiteclouds.

I am going to Chorley shopping this morning. Will have lunch out.

Ria, I go to the dentist every six monthsfor a check up. The practice is all private. The deceided to stop doing NHS patients when the rules changed several
years ago. But it is still busy and I have to book well in advance.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning everyone

A fresh morning, with not a breath of wind - bliss 8-) 34C for us, more than happy with that.

Happy 20th anniversary moving day Ally :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Just spent half an hour trying to stop Molly catching a baby gekho and then trying to catch it and put it outside  It was only about an inch long, but after a few failures, it is now safely outside. Molly was at the front of the house, so I put it out the back. Hopefully, it will find it's family.

So the watering was delayed  Happy that all the transplanted new plants are doing well :Hi: I've got some more to put in, but they can wait until next week.

Grumpy out doing car-porty things, I'll head outside and so something, then breakfast, pool, shower and head off to the Algarve. I have to see the eye surgeon and as he was telling everyone to be at the clinic at 6.00, I intend to get there a little earlier.

Dinner will be something microwaveable and quick, as no idea what time we'll get back.

Hope the poorly one's are feeling better today xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s mostly cloudy but the sun is making an effort although some heavy showers are forecast - nice and mild though. Edward is going to have bloods done this morning, Miss Osc is bringing him there. I’m feeling a good bit better having had some proper sleep last night. I’ll have a shower and wash my hair but that will possibly be the extent of what I’ll do today. When Edward is unwell, he becomes extremely grumpy, and so he is at the moment  Every thing I say is wrong :? I’ll give him another couple of days…….

Morning all.
it's OK in the sun here but not overly warm.
Happy Spanniversary Ally!
Nothing much doing here today. MrsC has gone to get her hair done, we'll have to get out for a mooch somewhere this afternoon
Have a good day everyone.

Edward has jaundice so the doc is trying to find the cause. He had bloods done this morning. He is utterly exhausted, no energy at all. I’m a bit worried, to be honest, and should step away from google.
