Morning fellow heat sufferer and everyone

Another hot day.

I have all the doors and windows open and the fan on as it's quite cool at 26C

Done the watering and we'll head outside after coffee to do some stuff before it gets too hot. Pool, then breakfast then not a lot. Although I do have ironing to do

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Hello and good morning you two.

I really hope the temperatures drop a bit for you both sometime soon - that's just really hot! Hope you both manage to stay as cool as you can x

A cool start to the morning here compared - 16 degrees with hazy grey clouds. If anything like yesterday then it will warm up a bit - but we really have not had a summer this year at all (a few days in June I think it was, but that's it).
Had an absolutely amazing day at Thorpe Park yesterday - really wasn't expecting to be brave enough to go on most of the rides, but I did! Such a fun day out.
Today wfh (as I will be all this week) so the usual mix of work and pootle. Vet appointment this morning and a trip to Sainsbury's at some point, but that's it.

Have a lovely day all x

Good morning everybody.

A cool 20C this morning with grey clouds but the sun is tryingto come out. Have ben to Tesco for some food shopping. Easy to park and no queue at the manned check outs.

Back home I will be ironing. Did the washing yesterday and it has dried overnight. Will go into town to buy a Golden Wedding card later.
Have phoned the electrician. I have tried to pay him by bank transfer but I get an error message. So I am going to pay it into his personal account
instead of hisbusiness account.

Then it wil just be pootling.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, there’s a fair amount of cloud about and there was some drizzle a while back. I left clothes on the line overnight, I wouldn’t think the drizzle made it very wet though. It’s still nice and warm. Today I have to start work on the massive pile of ironing created by the post holiday washing but I’ll get out for a walk at some stage. Edward has gone to play golf. General tidy around first then I’ll get started with rest of the day.

Morning all :D

Nice and sunny 8-)

Good to hear Scarlett is doing well Saundra.

We're out most days this week, nothing exciting, it's all very mundane. This morning it's a trip to the small Tesco with a stop off for Ed to have a walk. He's doing really well and walked round for the papers this morning for the first time since coming out of hospital. He manages without aid in the house, but uses crutches outside so the next step is to get him comfortable with a walking stick. Tbh don't think it will be long before he dispenses with both.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon everyone :)

Saundra, that's really good news, I hope she heals quickly :) xx

Glad E is doing so well, Jen :) xx

It's a beautiful sunny day here :) We've walked Fraggle round the water, had brunch, then spent a few hours with D. Having a cuppa at home now, but we're out again soon as Mick has a dental appointment - he lost a tooth last week. Poor man, he does have awful dental problems, mainly down to familial gum disease - D lost almost all of her teeth in her early 60's because of it :? Matthew (dentist) mentioned a plate at the last visit, so that's next I guess.

Love to all xxx
