Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 19 Aug 2023, 05:45

Good morning.

A weekend of 41° forecast then dropping to high 30s from Monday. :cute:

I'll do my swim after posting this to get it done then spend the rest of the day either under a palm tree with a cold drink or in the pool on my lilo.

Chinese takeaway tonight and we're going to binge watch The Power of Parker. :D :D

Have a great day.

Morning everyone

Bit cloudy this morning and warming up nicely.

We're getting warmer from today, for the next week, opposite from Ally

Grumpy outside, working away in the cool, before it gets too hot, I'll head outside soon and do some cutting back here and there.

Pool this aternoon and meeting friends down atthe bar.

Curry :o  for dinner, as requested

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning.
A nice one here, warm and sunny. The BBC weather forecast was on form last night. To listen to them you'd think last night was going to be "Apocalypse Now".
"Sixty to seventy mie an hour winds.... a month's worth of rain overnight..."
We get a bit of rain, that's all.
Daughter was going to drive to Leeds to go to the hairdressers, went to the petrol station, tried to take the petrol cap off - it's stuck on. Quick dash to the nearest train station and off she goes.
We are going out for a relaxed mooch around Ponte this afternoon, looking forward to it.
Have a nice day everyone.

Morning all :D

We had a big storm last night so Ed tells me, I didn't hear a thing  Changeable now, one minute sunny, the next cloudy, but it's supposed to stay dry for the rest of the day.

We slept in again this morning, being very lazy. Ed needs to get out for a walk some time today, think he will have to make do with a stroll around here. I was hoping to drive him over to the cliff top, but my ankle is playing up even more than usual.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all, it’s quite sunny, warm and very breezy.

We’ve had our usual Saturday morning walk with Bill on Hednesford Hills, it was beautiful there in the sunshine with the purple Heather in flower.

Quiet day, might pop to Tesco shortly for something a bit different for dinner. Joe’s in Poole and Tom booked a train to London late last night so it’s just me and John for dinner.

Have a good day all :D

Afternoon everyone :)

We've had a very busy day - out early for breakfast, then round to D's to say hello to J and J who are up from Weymouth. Nipped home after that, then B and I were almost straight out again, to baby N's birthday party!! The weather is beautiful today, so we've just got home from an afternoon in their garden, chatting to some lovely people :)

Love to all :) xx
