I think this is pretty accurate

On the trans brouhaha.

American singer Ne-Yo:- "I have no issue with the L,G,B, I have no problem with none of y'all...You could identify as a goldfish if you feel like it, that aint my business. It becomes my business when you try to make me play the game with you".

They can identify as a mushroom for all I care. But if they do they have to accept to be kept in the dark and fed on shite.

One legislation I would like to see. If they identify as something their physical body negates, they should wear a label.

Just so the rest of us know and can adjust for it. To be polite.

I do very much object to athletes born male knocking women off the top ranks in sport. Why can't they have their own category if necessary :?

I saw the wording "people with a vagina" on the Boots website :? It's the "cancelling" of the term woman that worries me, as though it's something to be ashamed of :( Women's rights were so hard fought and died for, now it seems to count for nothing :? If you say anything against this nonsense, you're branded as a bigot.

Is it bigotry to feel the unfairness of a person born male to be knocking women off of the top places in sport, or for women to want female-only toilets or changing rooms? Or to object to men being placed into women's prisons, because they've declared themselves female, but still have male genitalia?

The world is becoming very weird.

Don't get me wrong, I think people should have the right to be themselves, but not at the expense of my rights, or those of other women. I'm proud to be a woman!

Totally agree Kaz. People do have the right to live the lives they are happy about but the rest of us should not have to change for fear of giving offence. Treating people with courtesy and politeness should be all that is required.

Biologically there is no such thing as a transgender human, it is a scientific fact. However, it is quasi-illegal to say or even think such a thing... The bigot card will be played and the cops will be round with a hate speech charge.

Saying that does not make me transphobic as I have great sympathy for those who are not comfortable with the body they were born with.

I had a cousin who was known as a Tom-boy back in the day (1960s). She dressed and behaved like a male but just got on with life. She didn't flaunt her difference for attention and was accepted by everyone.

I agree with the point about women's rights Kaz.

What worries me is two things. One, if anyone like JK Rowling, Ricky Gervais or Dave Chappelle contradicts even slightly the Trans agenda, they are attacked ferociously.

Secondly a man isn't a woman. You can identify as what you like, but it doesn't make it so. And it seems to me that we are being ushered into a world where truth doesn't matter, or at least comes second to the hurt feelings of protected groups. Where black is white, day is night and wrong is right.

Once truth becomes what someone wants it to be, rather than what it is, we're on a dangerous road.

This is Mr S 100%. We supported our Niece through the transition but still don't believe any of our rights should be changed. We can add rights for them, but it cannot reduce our rights.
