Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 10 Aug 2023, 06:02

Good morning.

Thanks for your good wishes yesterday. xx

It actually turned out to be a lovely fun filled day. Just what dad would have wanted.

Going to visit John and Betty this morning then Tesco's for a Meal Deal for the journey. :D

Getting the 1.30pm train back to Nottingham.

Craig will meet me at the station, I'll drop my case off and we'll go to the pub.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

A bit misty out there this morning  and the clouds will soon disappear for us to have another warm day.

Grumpy will be outside making some noise from 7.30. I'll be pootling.

Pool this afternoon and that's our lot.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Merry morning you two and everyone else

Glad you had a fun day yesterday Ally. Enjoy your day today and safe travels back down to Notts
Jan, enjoy the pootle and the pool. Just been reading more about the fires in Portugal

I've got today off. Going to do a few things for work (won't take long) and then get myself ready and head to the allotment and spend most of the day there. It's a gorgeous day so hopefully my holiday tan will get a bit of a top up :D

Have a lovely day everyone x

Morning all, it’s mostly overcast here and there is drizzle about with rain forecast for later. We are going to dance practice this morning, I have my ankle strapped up and will take it very gingerly. Afterwards, we’ll go to the nearby shopping centre and pick up some Dunnes Stores meals, they are very nice and we like to have a few in the freezer. I’ll be doing my holiday nails tonight.

Morning all :D

Lovely sunshine 8-)

Up extra early getting ready for the invasion. Z texted to say they were leaving around 9.45 so expect they'll be here around 11. The plan is for them to leave the car here then go off for a walk along the seafront. Ed's not up to catching a bus to the harbour and parking down there on a day like this will be mission impossible so we'll stay here and I'll get dinner ready. I'm not doing much, just sausages, chips and beans, easy peasy and a big favourite with the boys. I did pick up a plant meal for Z as she's a vegan. I also bought a couple of M&S trifles, one chocolate, the other raspberry for pud. Satisfaction all round methinks 8-)

Hope you all have a good day xx

Your plans sound nice, Jen - enjoy the family time :) xx

It's a beauuuuutiful sunny day here, much more like a summer's day than recently 8-) I got washing out early on, and went shopping with D. Ironing this afternoon.

Love to all :) xx
