Not a lot going on here, footie watching soon, but I'm heading for the pool after my coffee. No idea why it can take half an hour one day to do the watering and nearly an hour the next time

Morning all, it’s a better day and I have towels out on the line as my weather app says no rain, hope it’s right! It’s a bank holiday here but we’re just having a normal day. Edward has gone to play golf and I’ll just be pottering around. I’ll get out for a gentle walk, still nursing my ankle so will take it easy. We had a lovely unexpected visit yesterday from Edward’s niece, her partner and their five month old baby girl, Livvy. Very sweet smiley baby who was happy to be cuddled by me as her mum and dad had a cup of tea. Right, better get up off my backside and do something!

Lovely sunshine

Ed did a complete circuit of our road with his crutches yesterday, I was a bit worried he was overdoing it, but he was fine and decided to go without any painkillers before bed, the first time since he's been home

I really need to get out in the back garden for a clean up, there's a complete carpet of palm leaves at the top. The front is also looking desperate, but I'll see how I go.

Hello all - happy Monday

WFH today and between work I am busy trying to catch up with things I'd usually do over the weekend, but I was out both days. Kaz, weather is rather iffy here at the moment - same as you I've got washing on the line and am taking my chances.
Got three friends coming over for lunch tomorrow so need to get the house into shape - it never ceases to amaze me just how quickly everything gets dirty again. Having long-haired cats that bring in half the garden everytime they've been outside doesn't help
