Good Morning Thursday

Postby JanB » 27 Jul 2023, 05:21

Morning everyone

Getting light and will be a lovely day, as long as the wind stays away.

Up early, as Grumpy wants to play with his wood before it gets too hot. I'll do all the watering. Washing machine working away, making funny noises though

Normal day, pool, read, pool, beer and dinner.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody,
Had another long call with Virgin yesterday trying to sort out my broadband. I stil cannot log into my account. Am sending a lovely letter of cmplaint
about the very poor standard of service.
It is drizzling with grey skies. Am going to the bank and shopping. Have had my renewal for my car insurance. Have managed to negogiate a reduction.
But it is still 3"00 more than I paid last year. My age is now affecting the cost.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it’s overcast here and forecast to stay like that for most of the day. We are going to dance practice this morning, then going to do some shopping. Just a quick tidy around before we go out.

Morning all :D

Wet

No blood test results yet, I rang yesterday late afternoon, they were in, but the GP sees them first before they will tell you anything. I will ring back later today.

Just having brekkie and then I'm off to M&S for a few bits.

Hope you all have a good day xx

hello everyone
Jen - are the results not on the NHS app?
Cruiser, how much more - £300?????? Jeez that's a lot; age or not
Jan, Vic and Osc - enjoy your respective days

Work from home day for me.... Needed to get a few things from Sainsbury's this morning and sods law; it's been quiet on the work front all week but as I was in the car something came up which meant the fastest ever shop resulting in my forgetting half the things I wanted :(

dull, grey, damp, drizzly and generally just meh weather wise here.... sigh

have a lovely day all

Good afternoon.
A warm day here, quite humid. Lots of cloud around too.
Jen I hope the results come through soon. Crikey Cruiser, that's a big rise.
We are going on holiday to Whitby this Saturday. I suppose I should be packing a few bits to get ready.
I'll watch the cricket first though.
Have a good day all.

Crommers that will be nice, I do like Whitby 8-) Ossie hasn't been on the site since early last week, I will keep an eye out xx

I've been shopping with D, got a wash out on the line, and we've had some lunch sitting out on the decking, as it's a nice day :D I might do some ironing later.

Love to all xx

Ed's blood results are showing on his patient access site, a number of things show as abnormal and the comments box says he needs retesting to see if he's low in iron. Rang the surgery and have been told they will be asking a district nurse to visit to do another blood test. Haven't heard anything more so presumably it's wait and see if anyone turns up.
