Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 09 Jul 2023, 05:37

Good morning.

Hot and sunny. Nudging 40 today and forecast to be even hotter all next week.
Although we've had these temps hundreds of times it just 'feels' hotter this month. Don reckons it's because I've just come back from the UK and I'm a softie.

I'll have a swim early. I don't think I've ever known the pool water to be so warm! Hmmmm....just wondering if a dumper truck of ice could be arranged to tip a load in.

Under a palm tree hiding and reading for me.

Have a great day.

Morning everyone

Blowing a hooley here this morning, so feels quite cold

Not doing a lot today, will have a wander around the garden, feeding all the plants, a swim and a bbq later. That's our lot today

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, not such a nice day here so far. We’ve just had about 15 minutes of heavy rain but now the sun is making a bit of an effort. The main plan for the day is to go dancing this afternoon. Just pottering around before we go out. Might do some of my never ending jigsaw, the one I’ve been doing since January *note to self, make sure Miss Osc never buys me another jigsaw!!

Morning all :D

Woke up to sunshine, it's raining now and looks likely to stay that way until this afternoon.

In spite of the rain it feels very muggy. We're having a usual lazy Sunday, roast chicken with salad this evening followed by ice cream.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all.
Cloudy but the sun is just getting out.
No guests for dinner today which is a rarity. Son is back in the dating game and his seeing his girlfriend, sister in law is seeing her partner today.
We will get out somewhere today, it's too nice to be stuck indoors.
Have a nice day everyone.

Afternoon all, I was convinced I’d posted this morning but couldn’t have done

The weather doesn’t know what to do. It rained around 10am, we had blazing sunshine at 1 so went ahead with our barbecue lunch and now we’ve got rain, thunder and lightning but blue skies are starting to reappear.

Me and Joe have been around to see Rob as it’s his birthday tomorrow so we had some presents to give him. Ruth rushed out as we walked up the drive and dragged us in to see something she said we’d never seen before and would likely never see again - Rob hoovering

Have a good day all :)

Jo, same here :?

Out for breakfast as per this morning, we met a friend of Mick's that he played rugby with so they had a nice catch up. After that we walked Fraggle round the dock basin, very pleasant in sunny weather :)

Round to D's after that, then home. We had chicken salad for lunch, with raspberries and ice cream for pud. I've just finished doing my nails, and am watching something called Manifest on Netflix - it's pretty good 8-)

Love to all xxx
