Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 08 Jul 2023, 06:56

Good morning.

I got a 10km walk in and home before 9am to beat the heat.

Southern Spain has been issued with all sorts of heat warnings and are advising the elderly to stay at home. :?
Whilst the North has had mad rainfall . World gone mad.

Lazing by the pool today and we have a BBQ party tonight. :D

Have a great day.

Clouds slowly going and we're in for a warm day.

Washing out and Gez is coming up this morning for a natter and to collect some cat food that Princess Molly wont eat   her cats eat anything and everything, so they're in for a treat

Meeting friends down at the bar this afternoon.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all,

It’s clouded over since I walked Bill first thing, it’s very humid and we’ve got thunderstorms forecast for the afternoon.

John’s due back from park run shortly and if it stays dry once he’s home we might do a short loop around Hednesford Hills with Bill, my Dad’s mithering about the flowers being too tall which he put on my mom’s stone yesterday so asked if I’d check.

Have a good day all :)

Morning all :D

Lovely sunshine 8-)

We're planning to pop to Waitrose shortly, just need some bananas and salad stuff. They have a nice selection of fresh bread so might treat ourselves to some for lunch.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all, it’s not a bad day, there is some hazy cloud and it is breezy. No plan for the day except my second Yoga class. I found a 15 minute session on YouTube which I’ve done a few times during the week in an effort to build up a little flexibility. I’ve been disappointed at my lack of flexibility as it has never been a problem before. Advancing years I suppose  Edward is preparing veg for the freezer while I tidy around before I go out. We’ll probably watch tennis this afternoon, although disconcertingly Edward has also started flicking over to cricket  At some stage I will paint my nails. I might clean our bathroom if the mood takes me….

Good morning all.
Cloud and heavy rain this morning, coupled with thunder and lightning although it's stopped now.
MrsC has gone off to Wakefield with our daughter and Eliza to do a bit of shopping and be Ladies who Lunch.
Jan, I always thought Molly was an aristocratic sort of cat!
Very quiet down our road this morning. I need to get out and get some cash and a paper between rain showers.

Osc, the Telegraph reported that the three bars serving the Western Terrace at Headingley cricket ground had served £100,000 of drink by 2.00 pm on the first day of the test match there! Which amount was expected to treble by close of play.
No wonder the crowd is so loud in the middle of the day, but a lot quieter later!

Have a lovely day everyone.

Good morning everybody.

Have been shopping. Got two new pots as I have two floweres which seem to be outgrowing the small pots the y came in. Will also dehead the Evening Primrose flowers.

It is cloudy but warm. May also do some weeding.

Some housework this afternoon. I don't watch tennis.

Have a good day everybody.

Afternoon everyone :)

The usual Saturday stuff here. It's been incredibly humid here, but now the rain is hopefully easing that a bit.

Saundra, that's a shame, I hope you see her soon xxx

Love to all xx
