Morning everyone

Sunny and another warm day.

All outside stuff has now been done, Grumpy just finishing off being pool boy.

I will just have to knuckle down and get some cleaning done. What with the extra hot heat we had, then me bashing my head, not a lot has been done, so I'll crack on with that after coffee.

Another lazy day, planning various bits and bobs and might pop down to the bar later.

For a change, salad is not on the menu for tonight

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.

Only 20C on the thermmeter. But it is sunny and forecast says it is going to get hotter. Going to Chorley on the bus.
Will do some shopping and have lunch there.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it’s not such a nice morning, windy and cloudy and looks as if it could rain although no rain is forecast. I have bedding on the line and a duvet cover in the washing machine so hopefully it is a good day for drying. Edward has gone to play golf and I have bits and pieces to do. Tesco delivery this afternoon and also Kellie will be here for a while. The tennis was exhausting last night, wonder how Andy Murray feels today! Right, off to the shower >>>>>>>

Morning peeps.
I don't think i'd like furnace hot.
A nice morning here, plenty of sunshine.
We are waiting in for the tea man, then going off on the weekly shop. We will get some stuff for Jim as well.
Might watch the cricket from Headingley after that.
Have a nice day everyone.

Morning all, it’s sunny, breezy and forecast to be around 25° today.

Bill had an early walk and he’s also walked to the post box with me since. I’ve cut the lawns and the washing is blowing around on the line. The Tesco delivery is due soon.

Tom’s on strike again today, but he’s using it as an opportunity to start marking the 108 mock exam papers that year 10 have done. He’s off out for dinner with colleagues later and then it’s the school prom so they’re going in to help supervise that. He found out yesterday that he’s also going to be teaching geography to year 8 from September as they’ve not been able to fill the vacancy for a new geography teacher. He was only a year older than them and in year 9 when he last did any geography! He’ll be swotting up over the holidays. He said that they’re also 17 teaching assistants short, and they don’t just generally assist in the classroom but work one to one with pupils who need extra help. Education is a mess, this is a good school in a decent area built just five years ago so it has up to date facilities and they can’t recruit the staff needed so I dread to think what it’s like in failing schools :?

Hope Saundra’s okay today x

Have a good day all :)

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

Well another call from the hospital yesterday afternoon, next week's operating list is full so E's new date is 18th July. We've been told it should be okay, the junior doctors will strike from 13th-17th inc. and senior bods from 20th so slap bang between the two, fingers tightly crossed.

Not the Friday we were expecting, but it's usual wash day for me. No other plans.

Hope you all have a good day xx
