Postby Ally » 04 Jul 2023, 05:20

Good morning.

My goodness it's hot!! 38° forecast. 8-)

Had a great flight home yesterday and was through customs and in the car in 22 minutes.

Today I am doing absolutely nothing except lazing on the lilo in the pool.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

A few clouds around this morning and we should be a little cooler. Only 35C

Grumpy having a hot toddy, as he's feeling the bug that we both caught. No idea where or when, but he, apparently, is suffering  I'll just struggle on

No plans for today, apart from working out where to put a new car port (his job, he's the carpenter) and working out how much wood etc is needed (ditto).

BBQ later.

>Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.

It is only 18cC on the thermometer. There are lots of grey clous and we have had lots of rain in the night. There were several pudles onthe road when i went for the paper.
The sun is trying to come out but not a day for sunbathing.

Going to Leighton Hall. It is the home of the Gillow family who made furniture. We will be able to see some of the early pieces.
We will then have a display by falcons before having afternoon tea. Hope the weather stays fine.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it’s a nice morning here - I got up at 7am and put on a wash so that I could hang it out when I got up, so it’s been out there for over an hour now. I want to wash the car this morning, the other day a seagull’s bowel appeared to have exploded over it but I just removed the worst as there was to be lots of rain yesterday. I have h/worky stuff to do but nothing urgent as I did a lot yesterday including doing all the ironing (of course, that doesn’t last long with more stuff out on the line  ).

Jan, I think we would all like to forget about the ironing!

Morning all :D

Well it was bright and sunny, but someone just turned the lights out, it's definitely cooler

A lazy day by the pool sounds ideal Ally.
Don't overdo it Jan.....and definitely step away from the ironing
Enjoy your day out Cruiser.

We're off to the cinema to see Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny at 1.30. Harrison Ford is a huge favourite of mine and I've loved all his films, but he's 80 now so this is his last outing as Indy. Thinking of having a meal out afterwards.

Hope you all have a good day xx
