Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 01 Jul 2023, 04:01

Good morning.

Craig and myself are walking into Sherwood this morning for a mooch.
It's quite a Bohemian area with lots of independent shops and has a really nice feel to it. :D

Tonight we're off to his local for a few beers and will get a takeaway delivery of some sort...but not until we've thrashed out one of his daft board games at the kitchen table. It's a tradition.

Have a great day.

Morning all :)

Ally, Sherwood sounds nice, have fun :) xx

July the 1st already! This summer seems to be speeding by  It's my Aunty Rose's 86th birthday today, I sent her some of her favourite perfume and will ring her later.

We're out this morning for breakfast and seeing D, then back this afternoon to crack on with the wallpapering. I just help tidy up the offcuts etc, and make tea/coffee/sandwiches as required  It's looking great so far :)

Hoping you're feeling better Saundra (((((x)))))

Morning everyone

Pleasantly cool at the moment with a brisk breeze 8-) Warming up soon.

Enjoy your day in Sherwood Ally x and the wall paper assistant Kaz x

Feel much more my normal self this morning, had a good nights sleep and have been out and done the watering aleady.

Grumpy also on the injured list, he fell up the stairs (thought it as only me who did that  ) the other day and has a very sore finger and a huge chunk of skin off one toe. Milking it slightly ;)

I will get some of the ironing done this morning and a little bit of cleaning.

Meeting friends down at the bar later and Grumpy has requested chill for dinner  I'll have pasta 8-)

Have a food day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s sun and cloud here and quite breezy. Edward has just been for a walk around the block and says it is not as nice as it looks. I’m going to a yoga class at 11am - haven’t done yoga in about 40 years, the gym class I’ve been going to isn’t really suiting me any more but as I still have credits in the gym I thought I would try the yoga. Edward is going to make a batch of apple jelly. Otherwise not much planned for the day.

Saundra, I hope the meds do their job quickly for you. Happy Birthday to Aunty Rose!

Morning all :D

Bit dull and overcast, we've just had a sprinkling of rain. When I checked the forecast last night it was supposed to be sunny today :?

Another fun day for you Ally.
Happy Birthday to Aunt Rose.
Glad you're feeling more normal and had a good night Jan. Poor Grumpy.
Sorry the meds make you feel ill (((Saundra))), hope they do the trick and you're soon feeling much better xx
Good luck with the yoga Osc.

E's hospital trip yesterday went really well. He arrived an hour and a half early, but they just fitted him in and he was in the car coming home around the time he was due for his first slot. The traffic was awful on the return though, he got home around 4.15pm.

No plans for today.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Happy Birthday to Auntie Rose :Hi: :Hi:

That's the ironing done  the cleaning can wait until tomorrow.

I'm going to be healthy and have a natural yogurt with banana and local honey for lunch 8-)

I've started wearing Grumpy's reading glasses for close up and I can now see when I make a typo

Good afternoon everybody.

Have been to Chorley this morning on the bus. Hadlunch at my usual cafe. On the way home the rain started lashing down. But now everywhere is dry and the sun
is trying to come out.
Ally, when you said Sherwood, I thought you meant the forest. Many years since I went to that area so things wil have changed.

Saundra, hope you are soon better

Have a good day everybody.

Happy Birthday to Aunty Rose!

It’s dull and a bit cooler here today.

I’m having a fed up day. I should be in Birmingham now but Tom’s let me down. Joe and Amanda are running a half marathon from Wolverhampton to Birmingham so me and John were going to drop them off in Wolvo and then drive over to Birmingham to see them finish, they had different start times so Joe was starting just after 10 and Amanda an hour later.
I asked Tom twice this week if he’d be home with Bill today because we’d be out from 9am until mid afternoon and he assured me that he would be.
Anyway, Tom then decided to book his car in for something to be checked which would apparently only take an hour or so and he left at 8.30. I know Tom’s ‘hour or so’ well and my gut instinct told me to stay home and I’m glad I listened to it as it’s now gone 1.30, he’s not been home at all and I’ve just heard from John that he’s actually in Birmingham now and is going to meet them so I’m not at all impressed. I’ve been looking forward to today all week :(
